Is there a way to setup several dba s under one business account?
I am new to doing bookkeeping for my husband's company and his accountant has a Windows computer and she said I could use a Mac as long as my backup at the end of the year is compatible with Windows. Will I need to convert it? Did I make a mistake by buying a Mac?
Or can I add a column to the register that shows attachment?
Changing to QB Online from Desktop 2019 version. Will my historical data (prior years) transfer online as well? I want to be able to generate reports for prior years. Thank you, Aimee
Not sure when the last update was made on invoice reminders and i'm baffled as to how no one else is reporting this issue. The new intro to the invoice reminder email includes a section at the TOP of the email that you are unable to edit. And, in the 2nd sentence it reads, "The total due is $ xxxx " However, when sending remdiners, because yes some clients don't pay on time, the reminder includes the balance from the date the original invoice was sent which is very misleading. Inevitably what happens, is that clients see that total, and don't bother to click through to see latest activity. Also, if any payments were made or any activity from the time the original email is sent, that "total due" amount is incorrect, causing additional non-paid work to try and resolve. For example:Lucianne only sees the first report listed, but the admin sees all of them despite the "Created" being listed as Lucianne. What is going on? How can I determine when these versions were created? Hello. Sorry for being new. I need to know what category i put transactions of a personal nature. In other words, If i use my business credit card to purchase an item for myself, what category do i put that transaction? I see PERSONAL EXPENSE: EXPENSE, and PERSONAL EXPENSE: EQUITY. Again, these transactions are not related to my business but are of a strictly personal nature.Should these transactions make my profit go down/decrease?I tried putting them all into OWNER DRAWS: EQUITY and my expenses soared and am showing a big loss. Is this correct?
It shows as a connected app but I never installed it. What is this?
I use Square for all of my sales. They have a Savings Acct. that I have set up where I'm able to have Sub Account for things like COGS, Payroll, Utilities, etc. So, in Square, I have $5000 saved, allocated to these separate accts. These accts do not show up in QB. I am wanting to know how to integrate the Square Savings Acct., into QB so that I can show the correct income for my P&L. I'm always showing a loss in QB because it is not showing what i have in the Square Savings Acct. This is totally separate than integrating Square transactions into QB. That part works fine.

I do not like the idea that a transaction can be deleted. Is there a way to limit a user's ability to delete any transactions? Or is there a work around?
Hi,I'm trying to keep track of business expense receipts (like meals out) by taking photos of the receipt immediately and adding info. (Instead of submitting a separate expense report to my bookkeeper.) I've been trying the QB Mobile App, but unfortunately, the MEMO data (including details like purpose of the meal and/or with whom) can be added in the app, but doesn't show up when synced with QB Online. The receipt will show up in QB Online, but not Memo data, nor Class).I've communicated and confirmed this problem with QB support. So, since QB Mobile doesn't fully sync with QB Online, can anyone recommend a free or inexpensive mobile app to record receipts and sync them (including the MEMO field) with QB Online? Also, I do not "Create expense from receipt" since the expense will be created automatically by the Debit Card debit showing up from our business bank account. QBO will match the receipt to the expense and show "We found a receipt that matches this transaction
I am using QB point of sale v19.I can not find out which box to check so my cashiers can see item history. I have searched item history in the security rights area and nothing comes up. Then I searched history and 4 results show up but none are for giving access to item history. Which box needs to be checked so my cashiers can see item history in the item list?

Quickbooks - you have broken your system. I can no longer reach my customer list. I keep getting a splash screen to import customers. Please fix this IMMEDIATELY!!!!
We have 4 people in accounting. Some were posting to accounts I hadn't yet marked as inactive. Trying to clear out of the wrong account so I can mark those accounts inactive.
I filtered by a particular date range. For example 09/1/2020 to 9/30/2020When I search the dates in the Chart of Accounts Register and Reconciliation, I can see all the transactions in that period. When I am in Banking for the same bank account only four transactions show. I searched in For Review and Excluded and they are not nested there, in Banking, so they do not exist there. I see them cleared in the Register. This seems to happen here and there. I have the account integrated to my bank so the info is ported not manually added. Can I do something so it shows up or will I need to delete all the transactions in the Register and then manually upload them?
i normally run the statement of activity comparison which shows the current month versus the same month last year. now it only shows the current month. it doesn't even have a column for the prior years comparison data
How do I remove the primary user
I just purchased Quickbooks Online a few days ago. I'm trying to add my accountant as a user. I get a popup saying I need a code, and asking if I want a text or call. If I choose text, I get a popup asking me to enter the code that was texted to my phone. But I never receive the code. The last four digits of the phone number that they show are correct. The same thing happens if I select receive a call instead. I never get the call. I can't find a way around this.
I am getting an error -when trying to use the beta pricing to test it out. Circle of death spiral...is this due to beta and just not ready yet?
