we are needing a POS app to allow in person cc payments
I know that if an account is used infrequently, but is anticipated to be used at least once again in the future -it should not be inactivated. So I don't count that as being an account which is irrelevant to the business. I mean an account which is truly irrelevant: one which is deemed to have zero value to the business in the future. Is it safe to inactivate it, even though it is a balance sheet account?

1st support mentioned issue with multiple companies, we got disconnected. 2nd support told me not QB and call Square, Square said not their issue as app developed by Intuit, 3rd and 4th support unable to help. 4th support mentioned maybe multiple PCs used to connect to square app causing it but unable to disconnect successfully.

A year ago, switched from Quickbooks Desktop for PC which I had used for 14 years, to a Mac, and what used to be quite simple with the PC program is now very difficult on the Mac, if even possible at all. I have been very frustrated with this program despite working with it for a year. I need to create a 5 year P&L comparison report, totalled by category, and by year. There are some expense categories (only a few) I do not want to be included. None of the help topics I have seen address this particular problem. I can get the all-inclusive 5 yr P&L totalled the way I need - except for filtering out those certain categories - and there only about 5 I need to eliminate. Is there any way of checking all the categories (select all) and unchecking just the ones I don't want included? I used to be able to do that on the PC, but don't see a way to do it on the Mac. Please help!
I am trying to add new accounts to the Chart of Accounts. I've added one but it's not showing up in the list. I've feel like I'm missing something here. I am familiar with QuickBooks Desktop but am new to QB Online. I'm trying to change the chart of account in QB Online. Thanks.
