Can we change the select tax rate setting in the customer profile based on what is there (automated based on location) to the proper local and state tax globally so we do not have to go through 18 pages of customers. Assuming some update in the last month has caused this to change.
My accountant upgraded my account to Online from Self employed and now EVERYTHING is missing, years of data gone. How do I get it back?
I just bought Quickbooks Desktop Pro 2021 from the Quickbooks store on Amazon. We do not need an online subscription because our company does basic stuff. It is really only for tax purposes. We opted for the Desktop version since it seemed the most reasonable (if you can call $400 reasonable). After downloading QB, I opened it up to find I needed to activate it. When I tried to activate it, I found that I could not "create account" because QB had defaulted my User Name instead of my associated email in the email field of the Account creation form. The field does not allow you to change it to the email and won't let you proceed because the User name is not an email. So I called Customer Service. The guy on the phone was trying to find my files but that was not was I needed. I tried to tell him my problem by showing him through the screen that he could see. How do i create a report that lists all refund receipts created? It does not come up as an option when I try and filter by transaction type. If it is not a transaction type how do i get this information monthly?

I have contacted QB "experts" EIGHT TIMES over the last four months regarding a case that is still not resolved! My company had a chargeback reversed by the customer weeks after it was initiated. Then, I had two payments come to my Quickbooks Cash account which were held by QB due to the chargeback. Now I can't get anyone to release the held funds even though the customer's bank had reversed the dispute and getting email reminders that I owe money to QB, which I DO NOT...QB OWES ME MONEY! I'm so frustrated and trying to figure out how to end this once and for all. This has made me want to cancel my very expensive subscription!!!

I'm very frustrated because I was trying to downgrade my account due to this issue and Quickbooks won't even let me downgrade because I have outstanding products & services that they won't let me make inactive. Hello, I own and operate a jewelry manufacturing business where I need to keep track of the precious metals I use when manufacturing jewelry. I am using QuickBooks Online Plus. When I create an invoice, I want to write how much gold I ended up using, and I want that "x" amount to be reflected in my total inventory. I do not want the $ amount, because gold prices change daily. For example, let's say I own 3,000 grams of 24K Gold.Client A used my services to manufacture a ring, and that ring needed 5 grams of 24K Gold.I want the invoice to show the labor cost as a dollar value, and the 24K Gold amount as a unit/gram and NOT a $ value.That way, when I look at my total inventory, it will show 2995g 24K Gold, and it will not be affected by fluctuations in the market. Is there anyway I can do that? Or am I stuck using the dollar value and having to update it every day, and sometimes every couple hours? I really appreciate the help.
How do I sort bills listed in the Pay Bills tab to list by due date? It has been that way since we migrated from desktop and now all of a sudden last week they started to show sorted by vendor in alphabetical order. I can't seem to figure out how to change it back. They show properly in the bills tab of expenses, but not in Pay Bills tab?
We have bills to pay and can not wait a week for QBO to solve the problem. All we want is to update the payment method so the account can be reinstated and we can pay our vendors.
Our CPA pointed out that the Balance Sheet for end of last year's entry for one bank account no longer matches the bank register balance recorded in the Reconciliation Report for that bank account on that date. Used to be, you could pull up a report that essentially asked "what transactions from before the reconcile date were changed after the reconcile date" and figure out what went wrong. For some reason, Intuit deleted that report, and are recommending undoing and redoing >8 months of reconciliations as the only fix !????!

Hi,I'm trying to reimport my company file into QBO within the 60 day timeframe. It worked fine the first time, but now when I try to import the company, the process goes right to "We're moving your data to the cloud" with the green progress bars, completes that and takes me to the screen to download the Desktop app, but I never get an email saying that the files are ready. I have a feeling it's because the conversion process is bypassing the screens where I sign in, pick my company from the list, etc. Do I need to clear my cache, sign out? Thanks!
