I had QB desktop for years then converted to online for years now am retired and want to move back to desktop just so I have my accounts secure for the next 4 years. Help!
Just trying to get a credit card account that is already in my Chart of Account to show up in the headers on the Bank Transactions page. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Checking subaccounts not totaling Main account. I saw where one my checks was drafted against the main account instead of one of the subaccounts. So, I changed it from the Main account to the subaccount. Now when I go to reconcile my checking account it says that my beginning balance is off by the amount of the check where I had edited from the Main account to the subaccount. How do I fix this?

I have a nonprofit client whose admin left the company and they cannot gain access to their QuickBooks. Only read only and they cannot run reports or do anything. They are now delinquent in filings due to lack of financial reports. I called the helpline and some overseas idiot told me basically what I needed (still not clear), but then said he was restricted from giving me the 800 number to call back when I had the information. Is propriety and they do not give out that information. Really? Then I asked him how the F am I going to call them back! He said he was sorry so I hung up on him. If anyone knows how my client can go about replacing the admin and gaining access, that would be helpful.
I have a QuickBooks Online Plus subscription and I want to know if it’s possible to switch the format to 80mm so it can work with my printer. Right now it is only printing full pages even if I choose the 80mm printer it doesn’t print anything just a long blank page. Please let me know if I have to switch to QuickBooks Desktop. Thanks!

Is there a way to choose multiple accounts to be merged into one account on COA or is the only way to do it is edit one account name to match the other? One at a time? I am trying to do a mass cleanup where I merged 50+ fixed asset accounts into several categories. Thanks.
Hi all! We are remotely hosted on Right Networks. The last few years we bought QuickBooks each and every year. I was just wondering if maybe we could save some money this year and not have to pay for QuickBooks24. I thought I read that Quickbooks is supported on the remote hosting up to three years in the past. It seems like we are at a pretty good spot where quickbooks has everything(ish) we need, and the new updates for 2024 don't seem to have anything that is a game changer. Sooo...... my question is Do we need to upgrade to QB24 with remote hosting or can we keep our remote hosting with QB23?
In QB I have customer type: "Inter-company", I'd like to record receivables with this customer on separate account: "Intercompany receivables", I created separate account but new invoice was recorded into "external receivables" instead of "intercompany receivables"
My venmo is not linking - I have reached out to support several times but no resolution. Is anyone else having this problem. It did work part of the year. I know the sign in info is correct.
Since April I have been unable to sync my two Business bank accounts and two credit cards with QBO. I have an open ticket and multiple escalations to engineering with no follow-up. They sometimes send a generic email saying send more screenshots. My screenshots include the problem and my account information and everything requested, and still they won't follow-up. I have been unable to manage my books because of the technical support incompetence.
How come it only has n/a in the far right column and not the account balance
How do I add a shipping box under totals on invoices. I went to the settings as suggested and the shipping box is checked but still does not show up on the invoice. I also unchecked the discounts box but it is still showing up.
I'm manually importing my credit card transactions in QBO. It looks good until about the 4th step. The correct columns show up with the correct information, but there is a red circle with a white exclamation point. Nothing shows up when I hover or click on it. It lets me select all the transactions, but the Continue button at the bottom is greyed out. I can't find info about it anywhere.Thanks in advance for any help!Susan

I have a custom report in QBO that pulls all transactions in an account for "fiscal year to date". When the report is manually run and exported to PDF or to excel, it runs correctly. When the report is run as part of a scheduled workflow the excel file that is attached to the email that is automatically generated is not pulling in all transactions from fiscal year to date. It is only pulling in calendar year to date. I'm missing transactions as the fiscal year beginning goes back prior to Jan 1.
