Hi, I've been using quickbooks online for nearly this whole financial year and I've been increasingly puzzled as to why quickbooks thinks that i'm making loss after loss. My bank account that is linked to quickbooks has circa £1500 in (which is correct) but the "In Quickbooks" states that i'm £-31,000 in debt!!! I've scoured through the settings, chart of accounts and report pages to see what might be amiss but can't for the life of me work it out. The only thing that seems to put me more into debt is when I create an invoice for a customer and send it, it then appears as a payment/debt. This makes sense I guess as I am at that point in debt with my customer until paid in full. When I am paid by the customer, I record the payment against the invoice as you would expect but this simple cancels out the debt putting it to £0 and does not then show as a profit. So for every invoice I create, I get nothing and every business expense I make, I'm put into debt again. Any help o
I'm a QB self employed user and the bank feed is no longer updating no matter what i do. I'm accessing the web version via mac and ipad (i don't really like the app version). The bank is HSBC. There were no issues at all up until the point it's been stuck at. An help would be greatly appreciated.many thanks!
I am on the bank rec screen, but I get the same problem if I try and post using the "+new" button
Since the open banking regulation came in the need to re-sign in every 90 days has been a very real hassle. A lot of our clients don't use the system themselves and are not tech savvy so the idea of getting them to sign in to the bank every quarter is a bit of an issue. we have one client who connects through the direct connect where the form was sent to the bank and this doesn't seem to need refreshed the way the other connections do, but now i can't see that option anymore when looking at making connections. i was hoping to move more of the clients to the direct connection as it seems more stable and doesn't need to be redone every 90 days but i can't see how i generate the form to sign and send off. has the move to open baking disabled this feature and if so are there plans for a workaround as it is starting to cause issues.
Hi Everyone, I am really struggling to see if the PayPal integration works and/or how it works. Also just to confirm withe bank account it is linked too, any income/expenditure needs to transfer to the PayPal account? and how does this pay off the invoice/pay for the bill? any support would be great. thanks,Ryan
Hi!My income used to show around 40k for the year 2018-19. Now it shows much less, the only explanation seems to be that some transactions are missing. Both my accounts (one with Nationwide and one with PayPal) are connected correctly. Is this because Nationwide only allows you to view the last 15 months of transactions? Could it be syncing only the last 15 months with QB?I don't know how to fix this, and I'd like to avoid having to deal with importing CSV files, because that completely defeats the point of having an automated tool like QB in the first place. Thanks for your help!
I have previously setup my QuickBooks online to download my bank account information. The last time it worked was 1/10/20. For the past couple of days I have been trying to download the updated account transactions and the spiral curser just keeps twirling and nothing is downloading. If I go through add new account, it does log in to my Santander accounts, and it does list the accounts I want to link as already linked. What is wrong with QuickBooks online that this is not working corretly any more?
I had previous issues with my Nationwide account due to bank data sharing which is now resolved on 2 out of 3 of my Nationwide accounts. The 3rd account the only one not working is my Credit Card account. It says it is connected on Quickbooks and in the data sharing on Nationwide but no transactions have come through since before the data sharing problem occurred. My last transaction that came through on my credit card account came through on the 05/12/19 but nothing since then. I have probably had about 40 additional transaction since then. Should the transactions be showing up or on this new data sharing will it come through on a monthly batch with credit cards? My other accounts are showing all transactions no problem and as far as I am aware credit card accounts with Nationwide are compatible with the new data sharing features. Thanks, Louis Humphreys
I have tried clicking 'update' many times this morning and the wheels just keep turning and it still says Updated 19 hours ago when they stop
