Hi I'm new to QB. I'm trying to import my CSV file for older transactions (Co-op bank). I have downloaded the file in a 4 column format, with right date format. Have tried putting 0s in the empty cells and leaving them blank- ie done the suggested formatting tips and it still wont upload. I'd be greatful for any help!! Thanks!
Hi,QB says that my bank connection has stopped syncing. My bank app says I'm still connected.When I click on the refresh button, nothing happens. What's the best solution here? I'm trying to save my data before upgrading to QB Online. Screenshot attached. Simon
Can we edit the bank account name in QBSE? I have had to re-connect 2 bank accounts from the same bank but they are now both showing as 'Business-Current'. Before we had the bank name followed by the account name which made it easy to review in Transactions.
Hi, does QB support direct feeds for the above account (I assume it is a business product but not 100% certain)

Hi, newbie here. I hope someone can help me as I'm at a a bit of a loss. I have three bank accounts linked to QB online. One current account and two savings accounts but in neither savings account does the QB balance match the bank balance. The bank balances amounts are correct and up to date. All the transactions are either transfers from the current account or interest, no other payments or deposits are made from these accounts. The number of transactions in QB and the amount of these transactions exactly matches my bank statements down to the last penny. The transactions in QB manually add up to the bank balance total.I have undone all of the transactions in one of the savings accounts and the starting balance is around £90 out. The other savings account is around £9 out. Can anyone tell me why this might be please? I've only had these accounts since April 2022. Thanks in advance for any help.Jo
Hi, QBSE user here, recently I have a 'Renew your Monzo connection' message sitting at the top of my page. It gives me the option to 'Renew your connection' or 'Learn More'. If I go through the process of renewing the connection, the message is still there, and is always there. It didn't used to always show,
Anybody know how to get the transactions to sync to QBO
I have had the same issue, but have managed to reconnect using the exact same process EXCEPT that i did it through the 'manage connections' option in the drop down on the banking page. worked for me! Its in the 'link account ' menu top right.
Hello, The connection between QB and American Express has stropped and I can't seem to be able to reconnect through Manage connections as I did for our current account. How could this be fixed?Thank you
Hi,I have a metro bank feed that has been working for some time. I have been having problems getting a new bank metro to work keeps going around in circles trying to authorise. In the end I decided to delete the mettle account and re add it but by mistake I deleted the metro live account. I re added that and now loads of duplicate transactions want reviewing. What should I do ? Delete this new duplicate and some how restore the original? thanks in advance
I have tried to reconnect few days ago and again today,but no luck. It says the same that it can take up to 4 days.
My transaction profile hasn’t changed - same bank account, same retailers etc but QB just doesn’t find matches anymore - I have to manually search and match every transaction
Its a payment 'on account' , there is no invoice as yet, I simply wish to record the payment so that the credit value is recorded on the suppliers account and I can do my bank reconciliation
It does reconnect when I go through the rigmarole as stated, but then the next time I login in, it needs doing again and can be hit and miss as to if it works!
Quickbooks says a 5 digit PIN is required for Amex bank feed. The PIN in Amex is only 4 digits when I reset it. Anyone know where to find or set the PIN for Amex Credit Card?
Hi All,Ok, so got HSBC banking connected but only to the current account. If I want to connect HSBC Savings account and credit card (on same HSBC login) then do I have to go and create a connection separately for them, even though it's all the same login?I don't want to end up messing my current account login.Thanks
We pay through PayPal and PayPal automatically debit the funds from our Bank account
I linked to my bank and updated the check register. Various checks and other credits were downloaded and now appear in the QBO. However, the downloaded transactions appear in the QBO check register as either "uncategorized" or under another category that I did not select. Here's the problem. When I go to one, single check to change the category from "A" to "B", QBO makes the same category change to every other check in the register, even though I made the change to JUST ONE ITEM. I've been on the phone with QBO Help and they don't know what's going on. In looking at a similar question that was raised in the UK, someone on the QB Team said the problem was from the bank's side. That is absolute nonsense. The categories are in QBO, and the selection is made in QBO.
