I have to reconcile several past months of bank statements. My problem is that QB (Contractor 21.0/PC version) is including all future dated transactions past my reconciliation statement month. For example: I want to reconcile May 1, 2022 - May 31, 2022. A cash deposit posted on 6/3/2022 (nothing to do with May 2022!) is showing up as "New Transactions" and therefore Ending Balance is as of 6/3/2022. This gets very long and messy as I have to go back prior months and rec. Can I get a nice clean "Month-only as of that month-end" bank rec report? Without all that extra post reconciliation dated "New Transaction" noise on the report? Yes, I have used the check box in the reconciliation window of "Hide transactions after the statement's end date" and it just seems to affect the available entries to show for clearing. The "New" transactions will still show up on that month's rec report.
The connector has stopped working again and has been not importing data for over a week. Is there an open issue here? I've done what has been suggested in other threads and have seen no improvement. I am stuck at:We're bringing in your transactions. It may take a while to bring them all in. Check back soon to see if some are ready. Refresh to update
I can't find my incoming wire
I have a lot of adjustments that I need to make with an old bank account. When I switched over to QB online, it messed up every refund given to a customer and has messed up several items. I can't correct to an inactive account and I can't seem to find the account to make it active
I am unclear/confused about how to handle a returned donor check. It cleared the bank with the deposit, and so is part of the total deposit. Then, 5 days later it was returned as NSF. How do I void the donor check without messing up the deposit, which is reconciled/correct?
How many times does an accountant can undo my reconciliation?
How can I get a CSV with transactions uploaded? Not sure how this is so hard.
Can anyone tell me where to find actual helpful information on 'how to' in QB?
I had some deposits that were somehow deleted after I had reconciled the month. I went back and manually added the transactions. When I compared the categorized transactions for that month to the bank statement all of the transactions for the month are there and there are no duplicates. When I view my reconciliation report it still says I am off by the amount I was off before I added back those transactions. Do I need to undo and re-do the reconciliation for that month? How do I fix this?
linking bank account
I don't want the bank account and my quickbooks account linked
Transactions transferring from Fidelity Investments to Quickbooks.
I connected my Fidelity account this month then the connection stopped working and is no longer available, even as a new connection? Has anyone experienced this?
I never received an email that quickbooks sent
How do I make my beginning balance a positive number?
I realize this could be construed as "lazy", but it will take me hours to fix the errors, whereas I can more easily create new entries. I'm in my first year of using QBO, so I'd rather do the work to make 2023 correct and build from there.
I have tried refreshing all accounts. I also tried manually importing a CSV file with the transactions, and received an error message.
My bank account is duplicated bank 0001-1 and 0001-2It is the same account and the same transactions. Everything is being accounted twice. How do I fix that?
