Upon exporting Rules of a Client's database for business reasons and deleting them from the live file, it was noticed that after importing them, all of the Rules had the Auto Add flag set to the Off position. Thinking this was nothing more than making the list Active since it showed Disabled, would fix this, unfortunately it did not. Now, either we need to go through hundreds of Rules and edit them to turn on this flag on or is there perhaps some coding that can be done in the Excel spreadsheet to make this flag Active?If not, this is a very poor routine to have created without giving any warning what-so-ever to the user before its use which will create a lot of wasted and unbillable time. I found numerous errors from my old office manager and want to delete all the bank reconciliations from this year to date (5 of them) - I want to keep the transactions that I have not changed already though.
If I purchased materials on a credit card from a supplier and then returned them to the supplier, how should I record this in QuickBooks?

I can't find where to change the bank account for the fees that are generated from merchant account transactions. We switched banks and the deposits are posting correctly to QBO, but not the fees. The fees are still being posted to the old account. Thanks
My insurance company auto drafted $13,000 for an invoice (bill was created in QBO). I matched those two transactions in Banking. Then my insurance company auto drafted another $13,000 on the same day in error. Two days later, my insurance company reimbursed me $13,000 directly into the same bank account it took from. How do I record the error and reimbursement where it will show up in my Insurance GL account as well as my bank account and under the vendor information? When I do it, the reimbursement (deposit) does not show up under the vendor information, only the withdrawal.
It seems that this counts some sales twice towards total sales, but not all.Thank you
QuickBooks told me I needed to update bank feed connection to Bank of America. Now that I have done that I can no longer transfer funds between accounts at Bank of America via QuickBooks. I can enter the transfer and check the box "Online Funds Transfer", however, the transfer does not show in Bank Feeds. When I shut down QB I get a message telling me I have Unsent Online Transfers, however, when I click on "Send Now" the Bank Feeds window appears but still no way to send the transfer. The transfer does not connect to the bank when I download transactions. Support has been no help. I am using Enterprise 22.

I'm a new online user, previously on Desktop where we manually reconciled bank transactions on QB vs the Bank Statements, concentrating on payments out of the account so we didn't miss any expenses. On desktop we could mark the transactions with a tick and save, I cant see how to do this in online, is it possible? I can see the linking of the bank account but I don't want that, I want to do it manually.

We setup an Etsy account and in order to link it to QuickBooks checking it sent two transfers, one was .01 and the other was .05 cents. The Esty store is asking for a 4 digit code that is part if the transaction record. Any idea how I am able to see that detail? When I look at the transactions in QuickBooks, it only shows the amounts and no other details.

In the overview of the reconcile reports, you can see that there are two entries for 11/30/2020 and 12/31/2020, and none for the 2021 year. So these two def saved wrong somehow. However, we cannot adjust them, delete them, fix them and it is throwing the whole balance off as QB thinks the last one done was 12/31/2020 for the wrong one. I have tried marking all transactions clear to this point, but it is not resetting this to be able to redo the reconcile. Suggestions?
