I am using qbo as my accounting system for a car wash. Our credit card transactions are grouped together and deposited once every couple days into our bank account. Since we are not creating invoices nor do we know how much each deposit will be making invoices is more work than just manually adding up the transactions and calculating what sales tax is. Is there a way to make all deposits in the account show up as taxable and record?

Hello,I have my bank account linked already to my QB. How to do I import older transactions that were never imported? Additionally, when I try to manually importing them with a QBO file, QB says that I don't have an existing account for that bank info. The issue is the account is already connected. The only option it gives me is to create a new bank account for the to be manually imported files and I do not wan to have two of the same bank accounts. Anyone have any advice ?

Hi, I'm reconciling a credit card. There isa a credit of +1807.01, there is no way to show a positive in the reconciling area (Ending Balance) box. Therefore, when I put the number it, it shows my balance is off. Please help!
We have been doing bookkeeping for a small group who is not a true organization and they needed us just "to keep their books". I'm trying to start a new QB Company file for them -- and take their checkbook out of our company file. I built a new company file for them and rebuilt their financial transactions. Now, how do I take their "checking account" off of our company books to get a zero balance? Thanks for your help!
I invoiced a client. I received two checks totaling the full amount of the invoice, and I deposited both checks. I see the deposits in my Bank Feed. How can I apply the two deposits to the single invoice?
I have QB Self Employed and just purchased Simple Start. Unfortunately all my transactions don't automatically import. I have downloaded the transactions from the QBSE but now I don't know where to upload them within QB Simple Start. Help please.

I have been trying to connect my Square account to QB Online. I keep receiving this message"Please disconnect Sync with Square. There are two Square integrations connected to your QuickBooks. We recommend disconnecting the older Sync with Square integration before adding transactions to avoid data duplication." I have followed the steps to disconnect and started over, however, I still am receiving this error. Any suggestions?? Thank you,

I am switching banks and need to close an account and open another. I was able to open the other account however I now need to merge the two together. How would I go about doing this?
Ok, I have QB desktop with 2 users. On both users, I can't match banking transactions. I download and import transactions successfully. I then select a deposit (made of several checks) and underneath Action select "Add More Details". For the past month I can't select any of the undeposited funds (on either desktop). I used to be able to double click on the item and it would be added to the Deposit List. I finally found a hidden space to the left of the Date field. If I clicked on that I could then hit the space bar which would add the item to the "Deposit List". But when I then click "Add to Quickbooks" I get "Error: Cannot acquire the Feature Lock". I made sure (as best as I can) that my desktop at least is patched to the latest version. I'm running Windows 10 on one box, and Windows 8 on the other. Both fully patched. The QB database is located on a server.
