I am very confused about "adding" "categorizing" and/or "matching" transactions from the bank feed. Unfortunately, the more I try to learn about HOW to do this, the more questions I keep coming up with. Especially from the Accountant side. How do you know if a "Matched" transaction is categorized right or not? Unless YOU were the one making the transactions in the first place, how do you know if they're categorized correctly or not? I realize some things will be at least somewhat obvious, but it terrifies me that if I do not categorize them correctly, a clients financial statements won't accurately depict their Profit/Loss, Income/Expenses, Assets, Liabilities, and Equity. Yikes! Plus, I really don't want to have to keep calling them and ask if they remember specific trans. from 3 weeks ago, or for $X amt. That could get time consuming and messy. So... Is there a way to "track" a transaction all the way back in QB's to see exactly where it came from? For insta

It has taken days to verify my bank. I transferred $ to my account yesterday but it is still not there (another 3-5 days). At this rate it will take weeks to move all the money over which used to be automatic. There has to be a way to access it.
How do I record a banking transfer from/to a bank account within the companies QBO account to another bank account that is not in the QBO account? Funds were transferred from one non-profit account to another non-profit account.
QBOnline changed these check numbers for no apparent reason. Why? Do I expect this to continue?
Hello! We have a credit card account that has one parent account and two sub-accounts; a credit card for employee M. and employee N. Originally, when we linked them, there was only one employee (M) and that card account was connected, not a parent account. Now, trying to connect employee N's card, I cannot. I am able to connect the parent account, however that essentially has duplicates to M's card, many of the transactions on which 200+ are already reconciled, and I am trying to avoid the work of hunting down the duplicates. In the chart of accounts I am unable to move the original account (M's card) into the new parent account, I get the message: You can't change the parent of this account to this Credit Card because it or its parent is already set up for Online Banking or Web Connect. Is there any easy way to merge these accounts without creating a ton of additional work?
I'm using Desktop 2021 Pro and can't find a way to delete unwanted downloaded bank transactions (uploaded through Bank Feeds). I've read all threads and just can't find what works for this version of the program. Could someone please point me in the right direction? Thank you.
Do I need a new version of QuickBooks?

Hello, I currently download all of my checking and credit card transactions into QBO. This leaves me with a credit card payment deduction in checking for which I use "transfer to credit card" and a credit card payment receipt transaction for the same amount. How do I handle the payment receipt transaction downloaded from my credit card account? This payment is always posted 1 or more days following the transfer from checking to credit card transaction date. I have tried recording as transfer again, but then the amount is double posted?
can't see my transactions when trying to reconcile a bank account
Hello, I have a new CC account that gave me a $300 welcome bonus (statement credit). In QB Desktop I went to Banking-Enter Credit card charges then in that window changed from Purchase/charge to Refund credit under the correct CC account. Somehow this single transaction shows on my CC account register as both a credit and a charge so the balance remains unchanged. Unfortunately, my 1st call into tech support did not get me any answers. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
