I have multiple $100 transactions sitting in bank feed. The matching transactions are on the check register. Same exact amount, same exact date. When I click find other matches it comes up with no matches even though it is clearing sitting on the bank register - unmatched, uncleared, unreconciled. EXACT same date and amount but Checking for other matches comes back with absolutely nothing.
I have some 2023 bank and CC that have not and will not be used in 2024, however they have ending balances from 2023. How do I correct them to zero in 2024 without their ending balances being reported on the 2024 financial statements since they were reported/included in the 2023 financial statements? Please provide me with a step-by-step guide if possible. Thank you very much.

I just need my partner, who helps with my business, to be able to open my QuickBooks account without me having to give them an access code every time. How can I add someone to my account? I already have my tax accountant added as an accountant.
When I find the deposit transaction in the register it is linked to correct customer but still shows when I click new deposit.
Hi. I logged into a customer today and was very unpleasantly surprised to find that QBO had downloaded new bank transactions (good) but also took the liberty of deciding where each of them should go (bad--they got every single one wrong) and recording them to the bank. I prefer to review downloaded transactions and approve / change them on a one-by-one basis. How can I change this? I don't have to deal with this for other clients.
For the most part, I am glad QB's ended the relationship with Quickbooks Bill Pay by Melio and replaced it with their own program called Quickbooks Online Bill Pay. I'm wondering if there is a flaw in the new software, or if I am missing something. When I process a payment, the funds pull from my bank account and the check or ACH is sent. How can I tell if the check and/or ACH was received by the vendor and CASHED? I have had way too many vendors send me late notices that they never received the check, even though QB's pulled the funds from my bank. Is there a report or a spot to see if it was cashed by the vendor?
I have some checks that have not cleared in QB but has cleared from my bank account. For example, I deposited two checks in my bank account and when I look in my bank registry one of the checks cleared but the other one has not both was deposited on the same day. The checks were deposited several weeks ago. Why is this? Can I manually clear the check that I know we have received but QB has not cleared?
My new fiscal year starts on 11/1/2023. For that fiscal year, I'll be adding a new "division/location" and that division/location will have different chart of accounts. How can I set up a new chart of accounts only for that location right now without messing with my current location's chart of accounts along with the fiscal year
I have an online quickbooks account that my accountant had started for me, however, I want to do my own now so opened my own online quickbooks account. I want to transfer all those records to the new one.

How do I record a NEGATIVE deposit correction from the bank?
Hi I have an ACH payment made through my bank (Not Quickbooks) that was returned a few days later. I categorized the initial transaction and applied it to the vendor it was meant to pay and the type of expense it was. Then a couple days later the bank returned the payment I show the new transaction as an incoming payment from the bank How would I categorize the new transaction? Can I just apply the it to the vendor?
How can I look up dollar amounts in the check register? I can look up vendors, but how do I search dollar amounts?

Hello! Happy Tax Season everyone, unless you get into a QB issue ;-). I've got an issue similar to what is posted here, but more concerning.https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-us/banking/problem-with-webconnect-qbo-file/00/1165936 All my QBOs have all my banking data locally -no need to connect to my financial institution - and when I try to import through Utilities > Import > Web Connect Files, I get the window in the attachment. I'm running Quickbooks Desktop Pro 2020. Can I be wrong in assuming that everyone is being pushed toward an online version? I will really appreciate it if you can help me as I'm going to have to ask for an extension. Kudos though to the support community including Intuit as they've always been fast and helpful in responding.Cheers, Marty
QB Payments has lost over 20k of our money via QB Payments. They collected it on Sept 3rd and we still do not have it. QB Payments customer service has done absolutely nothing to help. They say its GreenDots fault but we cannot contact GreenDot ourselves. We still do not have our money. They did charge the fee though.
QB Payroll makes PIT/SDI payments as per schedule. Uploaded bank transaction shows the payment but does not match it to the entry made by QB payroll. How do I match them so I don't see double transactions for the same amount?
