Hello, with the recent overhaul of QBO, can someone please clearly explain how do we batch import expenses using a .csv file? Everything I'm reading is dated to 2021, and some threads are mentioning a download of "QuickBooks_Import_Excel_and_CSV" which has documentation and screen caps from 2007/2008. I have about 90 expense transaction I have saved in a spreadsheet that i'd like to get over to qbo.
I've been connecting to TD Bank from QB Desktop for well over a year with no issues - until last week. Now I am getting an message that says there is trouble connecting and try again later - I am getting this message both when I try to connect and when I try to Set Up Bank Feed. Help Please! TIA.
I recently set up a line of credit in our quickbooks, following instructions that I received from a call with quickbooks - but it's not working correctly. When I "transfer" funds, it's putting the amount in the "increase" section of the report. It's showing correctly in the bank account, but not in the line of credit - so it's showing that the number is a lot higher than what it is, and I am trying to keep it accurate. I sat on the phone with quickbooks for about 3 hours with no luck. I was hoping someone could assist me in keeping and tracking the credit link correct, including the interest and other fees that are associated with it. My credit card company issued a annual fee rebate. From my credit card company i selected credit instead of bill. applied to correct account. This then made my visa statement for the month a negative amount. Should i be doing something else? I run a monthly expense report and it shows up as unpaid bill and adds to my total expenses instead of being a credit. i feel I'm missing a step. My Credit card account whos the correct negative amount owing. thanks
New company but my second one through QuickBooks. I had no issues with the other company connecting. Account is linked. Bank Transactions page keeps asking to connect account.
Hi guys, We have closed a bank account which wasn't run though Quickbooks but the balances were deposited into a Quickbooks account as a loan by the previous Accountant. Can anyone tell me what JE I would need to make to code them properly? Thank you in advance of any advice. j
Right now, QBO only allows me to set an Expense Account and a Project. It won't allow me to add the Product/Service items I have created unless I click and open the expense and then modify each transaction. Is there a faster way?I noticed this is the same for the APP. You can add receipts, but you can not really define a Product/Service code for Projects.

My 2nd comment should read, "It's entered as a deposit..."
I had to undo all bank reconiciliations for 3 years. When this was done, the R on each transaction remains. When I went to do the first bank reconciliation that should have a beginning balance of 0. It had a negative beginning balance. I found that the individual transactions still had R on them. When I removed the R, it added to the negative beginning balance amount. There is no beginning balance within this account. Why is the bank reconciliation showing a beginning balance that changes when transactions are unreconciled within the same month being reconciled?
Is anyone else having trouble reconnecting to Chase after the connection was upgraded last week around June 22, 2023? After spending a frustrating amount of time and effort to get my client to get me back into his account, Quickbooks went through all the steps and everything looked fine until the actual connection, and then I got the message "something went wrong" with the error code #572.
I went to go pay some thing and I got told I don't have enough money in my account which was odd because I knew I had at least 1300, I go to look and I have four dollars in my account. I do the math from when I made the deposit and all my transactions and I should have about 1300 left. I called QuickBooks they go "oh that's weird it just like disappeared" they sent me to Green Dot and I get "oh that's weird it just disappeared, we will open a case It will be resolved in two business days" Literally two business days today and no resolve and I called back and they told me to wait another day. How is this even legal or possible that they can just disappear my money and not know what happened nor give it back to me why they investigate why it's gone. I have bills bouncing now I can't pay my electric bill or my cell phone bill because Green Dot/QuickBooks has no idea what happened to my money! It's literally gone and I'm getting told to wait another day for them to reso
The screen that shows during the matching process in the bank feed is different for different members of our team even though all have the same user role. One person sees buttons for SPLIT and ADD. The others see a single button for CONFIRM. How can those seeing CONFIRM, switch to seeing SPLIT and ADD?
