I understand that QBO doesn't always automatically match receipts to imported transactions. I've read the tips on adding receipts after the transaction has been uploaded from the bank. I've also read how using the manual search to find a transaction won't work when the transaction has already had a receipt attached or isn't open, or is over 180 days old, etc. I'm pretty sure none of those is my issue and I don't find any discussion where there is a resolution. Here's an open transaction needing a receipt. Here's my search looking for the transaction, which isn't found. This problem is constant and probably about 10% of my transactions. So I end up taking a screenshot of the uploaded receipt, saving it to my desktop, then uploading it manually into the transaction. Thanks for your assistance.
12/31/22 bank statement error 12/31/23, wrong year and reconcilled
I installed QB Desktop 2024 yesterday it seemed to go well. Until I tried to import my qbo file from my bank. QB opens my correct bank file but does not recognize the bank file when trying to import the file it gives an option to select a bank account but mine does not show as an option there are none to choose from and the only other option is to create a new one. This happens while I am looking at the register my current bank and it is current as of the last time I imported the qbo file in QB 2021 f and it exist in my chart of accounts.
In the latest Quickbooks mobile app there's no CC and 100 characters. Keyboard functionality when filling gearboxe so painful. Want to cry. At least there is autosave..
QBO pulls in all the primary card transactions just fine; but noticed today (while reconciling) that none of the employee transactions are being downloaded to QBO.
i had a customer payment made but it hasn’t deposited yet
Quick books credit card not working for online purchases on Amazon. Talked to the banks representative 4 times yesterday and got a different answer every time. Manager was supposed to call back but didn’t. Maybe there on India time. Today I got an email thta there was no issue with the card. I went on Amazon again and it still got flagged. Bunch of Idiots in banking
For over 2 months now quickbooks has been unable to import my transactions from Bank of America. I have been on multiple support calls and chats and they have finally switched from blaming me for not setting something up right to admitting that they have an issue importing transactions on their end. This makes their platform completely unusable for me as I have too many transactions to manually enter and now the only option is to upload via CSV. I am not willing to do that because if I wanted to manually upload and download everything I would go use a basic cheap software solution and not pay extra for an automated online solution. To me this is inexcusable considering how much they charge and that they are a large company with resources to fix this if they wanted to. I am so frustrated that after this long I still have not received any updates and they have failed to fix this critical problem.
change a transaction date from 2023 to 2022/
Hello! I cannot get journal entries to appear in my banking feed for me to "match". Even when I click on "Find Match" not a single journal entry shows up. Please help to resolve. I have attached some examples of my journal entries.
I did a first reconciliation on an account it was done wrong. I like to undo it and start over.
My expensify is connected to Qbo and i have 2 accounts created. expensify liability account and expensify clearing account. Transactions go to the liability account but few go directly to the bank account bank feed. Why is it so? How do I reconcile these accounts?
This has been a major headache and time-consuming process for months now. Is there a way to make this stop?
I have got it to work a few times, but I had to try hundreds of times. It's infuriating.
I have recently set up Quickbooks Online for our non-profit community band, and have set up two bank checking subaccounts in the COA under our linked checking account - "Unrestricted" and "Restricted - Equipment". This is in line with step 3 of https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-us/help-article/accounting-standards/fund-accounting-non-profits/L833HXXTo_US_en_US. Before anyone asks, I also set up two matching classes, as described earlier in that article. My question is how to handle depositing into these separate subaccounts when really only one physical bank deposit transaction occurred - a deposit into the parent bank checking account. Let's take an example of a member who paid their $40 dues (lands in Unrestricted), and then donates another $100 - $75 for the Restricted and $25 for Unrestricted. I would create a Sales Receipt with 3 line items, depositing into Payments To Deposit.$40 - Membership Dues (class Unrestricted)$25 - Donation (class Unrestricted)$75 -
