Employees and payroll

I was forced to move from my desktop application to the online application on June 1, 2023 since QB was no longer going to support the desktop version of payroll. When I preview my employees 2023 W2s, not all information from the desktop application is being factored in. Some employees do have information that converted correctly, and I've reconciled everything from the previous version. What do I need to do to get correct W2s?

In the past (using QB Desktop), I was able to pull a report that would show me the total hours each of my employees had billed to a particular client. It was sorted by employee, and under each name it would list the dozen or two dozen clients and how many hours that employee had billed against each one (within the time frame I selected). It was extremely useful for invoicing each month.Since coming to QB Online this past summer (2023), the only thing available in this same genre is the "Employee Time Activities - Details" report. This does the same thing, but it shows every entry for every employee and every client. I have to then export to excel and manually summarize the lines to come to a total each month so I can run invoices. It works, but it now takes 10 times longer than it used to. I have tried unsuccessfully to customize this report to summarize the data needed.....Is there a way for me to get to this summary format in the reports?Any direct
Enterprise Solutions Pro Services 18, Payroll Update 22013, payroll version 08101840 We have 25 employees, but only one employee continues to have the wrong SS and Medicare taxes withheld. We are manually manipulating the taxes (salary employee) to the correct amount. Makes between 70 and 90K annually. Bookkeeper has read all the threads on this, and all is as it should be. One suggestion is to create a new employee record for this individual. Please advise.
how do i reverse it
Surely there must be a simple way to to do this but I'm not finding it. How do i got into an existing vendor's info and make them contractors rather than vendors?
12/29/23 Dear QuickBooks, do you know that your automatic upgrade from my FSPto Quickbooks never got the correct upgrade? I haven calling and connecting with every Qb care agents but it seems that their replies were not right. I set up Payroll starting 12/7, 12/21 and 12/28 and nothing has hit my employees bank which has always beenby Direct Deposit. I am not happy and neither my employee. Is there a Supervisor in board who can review this process? This is unacceptable and I need a Refund of my subscription if not solved.
I can get the How do I add a new sick pay: Accrued at .0335 for every hour worked with a max of 48 hours per year set up but I cannot get the "Allow a carry over of unused time limited to 400 hours."

I completed a JE to credit Wages and debit a EE Retirement plan. I needed to show this adjustment on the year end W2 for 2023. Box 12 a (D) should have increased. Nothing changed. QB Help is closed. Wondering why the JE did not update the employee information on the W2.
employee did not receive monies direct deposit
Tax accountant told us to pay all taxes to federal, but we don't have edit rights to those fields like our accountant does.
I entered the wrong number.
I have checked each employee record and they are all setup properly. Do I have to assign to a team? I cant see where to do that
I can't seem to make an additional paycheck which would be net zero. When in QB Desktop, I could make an employee salary deferral of $10,000 to 401(k) employee, and then to offset would make a distribution to that employee, for a net zero paycheck. How can I create this in QB Online? They don't give you options to run additional paychecks that are zero. This is a salary deferral for 401(k) to reduce the salary for the year. Can anyone help?
I have 4 returned checks from a contractor. As each arrived I used 'Make Deposit' from the contractor using the same generic expense account as the original check. However, the deposit does not appear in the contractor's vendor transactions. In an effort to credit the returned-check-deposit to the contractor, I've created a credit memo listing all 4 checks. The credit memo shows up in the contractor's vendor transactions and also in A/P.Is this the correct approach, and if so how do I offset the credit memo in AP?Thanks.
