Date of birth isn't required for W-2s, 1099s, or W-4s. Why is it required to add an employee in QB?
where did the business snapshot go

My business is in texas, Payroll taxes are paid automatically and just want to ensure they're going to the right place.
I see the deduction set up but no indication of where the money is going once deducted.
Is Group Term Life, STD,LTD, and AD&D considered earnings to the employee for tax purpose even though they all are employer paid?
Hello! Was looking for some help. I have a bartending business and need to get one of my contractors/Bartenders set up in the system and paid. I started the set up and it emailed her the set up link, however, she already has an INTUIT account so it's not allowing her to proceed. Does anyone know how I do this? I would prefer not to have to enter her info manually.
I just scheduled a paycheck for 9/7 but want to change it to 9/1.

Hi, I am a bookkeeper for multiple organizations. I'm setting up enhanced payroll for a new company and I'm trying to create the direct deposit pin. It says please verify your information by choosing your name from this list. The only name is the previous bookkeeper from another organization I work with even though I thought I was logged in under my QuickBooks account? What am I missing? There is usually an icon where you can log-in/out up in the right corner but that is gone.
I want to check before I change something so I don't dig the hole deeper .... In the Payroll Item List, the same GL number is used for FIT, Employer & Employee SS, and Employer and Employee Medicare. I would like to track these separately: FIT in one GL, SS (both EE and ER) in another, and Medicare (EE & ER) in another GL. But I'm not sure the payroll reporting that reports on these totals will be messed up if I change them. ???? I also realize that I will need to update every employee in the Payroll tab for these new Item names. I assume (?) that I should leave the non-active/terminated employees as they are since no new data is posted to them. However, will I have a problem at doing the quarterly or annual tax reporting? Is this better left to do only at the beginning of a year? (I know .. it would be best to have set it up correctly to begin with, but that was before my time ...) I don't know how QB selects some o
I was able to print my paychecks with my signature on them when I used QB Desktop. I was forced to switch to QB Online. Can I print my paychecks with my signature on them in the Online version like I could before or is this another reason for me to despise QB Online?
For our primary admin user, it is showing the inactive employees first and she has to scroll down past them to get to the active employees. It's very annoying and time consuming. Thanks!
We are not looking to get interest from this loan, just not sure how to set it up.
One of my employees is unable to access her account. After she signed up and logged in, the information in her account was for another employee that is no longer with us. I made that employee inactive with the hope I could re-invite my current employee. The option to invite is no longer available as an option on my dashboard. When she attempts to log in, she receives an error code instructing her to contact her administrator. I am the administrator and have no idea how to resolve it. I believe her account needs to be removed and a new account set up but I am unsure how to do this. It bothers me that we have to rely on message boards rather than having live support to resolve problems within their system.
