Is there a way to export the info needed for Oregon Form 132 from QuickBooks. Although QuickBooks prepares the form the State requires the info to be entered into their online system OPRS and if we could export the Form 132 that would be a huge time savings.
Hello, I'm trying to run payroll for my client through Quickbooks Enterprise Solution: Accountant 23.0. I created the checks for the current payroll run, but when I attempted to send them to Intuit for processing, it tells me that the amount to be sent for payroll is $50,000 when the current payroll run is only $11,000. I am then given an error that I cannot send paychecks with dates prior to 03/24/2023. It shows me a list of paychecks from 4 old payroll runs, from July and August 2022. I explored Employees > Edit/Void Paychecks and found that those checks are suddenly marked "no" under "sent to Intuit" despite all of them having cleared the account already. I restored the most recent backup for this account and everything went back to normal until I tried to run payroll again and ran into the same errors. Has anyone encountered something similar, or can they give a potential solution? I have until EOB 03/31/2023 to run this payroll, but seeing as it is the weekend, can't
We are a small construction company located in Texas-we have rc'd our Louisiana license and will be occasionally sending crews to do work in LA which has state income tax(Texas does not). How do I need to set up my payroll to separate the hours worked in LA verses Texas to correctly pay the taxes? We use Desktop Pro Plus 2021. Thanks in advance!
Some time ago, WV began requiring employee titles, SOC, and county worked on their Unemployment reports. Recently, there was a QuickBooks update purporting to have linked the Title field under Edit Employee>Employment Info to the WV Unemployment report. I have pulled that update a number of times, and indeed, QuickBooks now had a message in the Payroll Center reminding me to update the Title of a number of employees. However, even after doing so, it does not carry over to the WV Enhanced Wage Report section when you generate the WV Unemployment Report. As far as I can tell, QuickBooks doesn't even pretend to have a spot to fill in for the County Worked. This isn't exactly a request for help, though if someone does know where they have hidden the connected fields for the WV Unemployment report, I'd be happy to know. This is also not an invitation to the QB Staff to encourage me to download the payroll update again. I have, several times, and will be ignoring
I have seen a couple of posts on other places that the Turbo Pay Prepaid Visa Card is the only option but I can't get a confirmation of that plus the link to the form on the QB site doesn't work

Hello everyone,I would really appreciate some advice: We are a small non-profit organization and need to change our payroll subscription by November this year at the latest. Our plan was to switch to enhanced payroll (which has an additional $6 per active employee on top of the annual cost), but I was advised to purchase the QuickBooks desktop Enterprise Gold Edition product. I can't believe this is the cheapest alternative for us (15 employees, basic bookkeeping, basic payroll with the desire to e-file W2s in the future, 1 user). Does anyone here have any ideas on how I don't have to spend $2000 a year? We would not want to do online, but stick with QuickBooks desktop.
Does anyone know which payroll report I can run in desktop that will give me the payroll summary for the last week of the year and not the entire pay period in the new year? I need to do a JE for the last week. The summary and detail both include the entire pay period. I don't want to have to go through each employees record and figure manually. I'm sure I'm just missing something. Thanks for the suggestions everyone!
Can I enter milage for specific tax year?
Every quarter, QBO is still telling me to submit forms UT Form 33H and UT TC-941; however I haven't had an employee in Utah for several years (he moved to CA), and the form shows $0 of tax liability in Utah. For the first few quarters I would just submit them, but they kept being rejected by the State of Utah, probably b/c I have no employees there. I've checked the home/work address of the employee who used to live in Utah, and they're showing a CA address. Is there somewhere else I might need to clear any responsibility to UT?
I live and work in CT.... I'm going to get laid off at some point, but W2 employee was not offered...Can I still apply to collect?
I ran payroll and didn't catch that a small employee tax was not withheld from one of the employees checks. That employee is no longer with us but my reports are off as will be his W2. I need to pay the tax because it is based on wages, how do I fix this in QB?
Trying to get our people paid since payroll seems to be down, down not have it paid out twice.
I can not access certified payroll to create a report. Anyone else having that problem?
Quickbooks online
i am the vendor. My client said - he has paid me on Monday. He has the same day lead time. Today is thursday and still I haven't received any payment notification from qbo and no idea on where's the payment? Another scam? I have contacted your support team a total of 1000+ times. Scam? They are not helping me at all. I am not getting any response, my payment. zero help. Is this another scam going on? You have stolen my hard earned money. Your support team is useless I would say. they are just closing the chat.
I ran payroll in QBO Advanced. There are no check numbers. I tried to add check numbers (went to paycheck list>selected check > edit: new screen - entered check number. Received an error message "invalid check number". Our check number series start with 3 letters, followed bu numbers. This was never an issue in QB Desktop. If RPT123, is not valid, please share what the requirements are. I can't find that anywhere. Please note. this is not an issue for regular checks, just payroll checks. Thanks for your help
