I have ran our March payroll, but when going to 'finalise pay run' and completing the various questions no 'finalise' button is displayed.
It was easy under the 'old' Payroll system, not so clear under the new CORE system
Since the change over the gear icon has disappeared from the payroll overview. Now when I enter cis suffered and save it I can’t seem to find where I submit an eps to HMRC do they now send it automatically? Any help would be appreciated as it’s driving me nuts. Thanks
When we will be able to start running 25/26 payrolls? There's a few test runs I'd like to progress where tax codes have changed etc It is still saying "The tax year 2025-26 is not yet available for running payroll. Please check back towards the end of March." Well, it is the 'end of March'!
So I got an email from quickbooks saying they failed to sync 4 payroll transactions from 04/03/25 and that I needed to fix it. Clicking the link to the email takes me to the page attached below. Firstly it wont tell me what the error issues are since there is another user accessing the company (there is not, I am the only user and we use quickbooks on 1 device). Secondly trying to contact the care team doesnt work as it says there technical issues (i've tried this yesterday and today). I then tried to separately contact quickbooks through the online chat, but the person I connected with ended the chat suddenly, and when I tried to do another chat I got no response. I want to be able to fix these sync issues - especially before the end of the tax year. Does anyone know how to do this or will I have to try contacting support again and hope that I dont get ignored?
I have had to delete multiple payruns, as one payrun in November did not go across to HMRC, as I thought. Now when I go to re-run a payrun, the date is not there. It starts in January 2025. Any ideas?? Thankyou in advance

I paid a contractor today and the money is supposed to come out my checking account from another back but I didn’t know that so I wired the money from my primary bank to the bank account I have with quickbooks now I’m afraid the contractor will not be paid.

I asked this in the 'payroll year-end 24/25 drop in session' but nobody replied - when will P60s for 24/25 tax year be available under Core Payroll? Also, can we have P32 and P11 reports for the whole tax year? They currently still only show the months under Core Payroll and omit the months under the former Standard Payroll product. Thanks

Can we please go back to how Standard Payroll processed the Employment Allowance? A nice journal behind the scenes, dated on the same date as the pay run, crediting the pay I&E and debiting the payroll HMRC liability. The new Core Payroll posts a weird zero Tax Payment to HMRC to the bank account on the 5th of the month after. The effect is the same, but there is no reason for it to hit the bank account, where every client gets anxious until you can explain to them to ignore it. And it throws every month-end/year-end out because the payroll liability is not the correct value until the 5th of the following month, when the Tax Payment hits the ledger. Come on Intuit, this is basic stuff!
I'm using QB Bureau, facing issue with all directors' NI. The system calculation is understood but the values shown in payrun is different from it. can you please help with this.

When I run my first Core Payroll pay run. it asks me to 'select an account' (even though I think these are all set up correctly in settings) before I can submit. Does it want the account for the credit or debit side of the pay journal?
