As I hadn't set it up in quick books in time I need to charge my employee for Pension arrears how do I do this? Do I use the After tax deduction or the repayment option? I have the values from the Nest website but just not sure how to do this on the payroll. Thanks
I changed from paysuite to standard payroll as required, I find I don't find it very useful. I would like to try advanced payroll but can't find a way to upgrade. I requested a callback but this hasn't happened.Any ideas?
When I open a pay run, I get a black bar along the bottom of the page with 'close' to the left of the bar. This is ok, until I want to finalise a pay run. The box that opens has no scroll bar and the bottom of it where I need to click to finalise the pay run, it under the black bar and I can't get to it.I have no need for this black 'close' bar as there is a close cross at the top right of the page.How can I get rid of the black bar so that I can finalise my pay run?I am running QB advanced payroll on QB online accountant.
HiI see you can charge staff hours to Locations but not Projects, does anyone know how I can circumvent or adapt this to charge my Projects as I currently add them up on a spreadsheet weekly?Also we pay staff travel expenses to our different Projects and although I can pay the staff back through Payroll this to can not be directed towards individual Projects and although I can add the Staff hours manual in Project costs I cant seem to add the Fuel expenses etc without getting the double entry expenses showing elsewhereDoes anyone know how I add the Staff expenses to Projects please without it going through the bank again?
For the past couple of months my payroll pension submissions have not gone through first tine, and I keep getting late submission reminders from my pension provider Nest. It seems to take forever to submit and sometimes I forget to check back to see if submission is successful. It usually hasn’t gone through so I resubmit and it goes through. Why is this happening frequently?

I can't see payroll for 2021/22 to run week 1, I have processed week 52 on 20/21 payroll
I have just run payroll on Quickbooks Online Advanced for the second month. The gross salaries are coming out slightly different from last month. Why is this? Why isn't the gross salary for each person just 1/12 of their annual salary, as we do not pay anyone by hours? (Payroll is stating the same number of hours as last month.)
Can anyone point me in the direction to add contact numbers to my employees details?? Cant seem to find an entry box anywhere?!
HiHas anyone successfully transferred their payroll from QBO Standard to QBO Advanced payroll? I've just been talking to an intuit support member who has told me that you loose all the old payroll data and have to start from scratch and set up each employee manually on the new system. I'm really struggling that this is the only way it can be done. Is this correct? Has anyone found a successful way of migrating between the standard and advanced payroll? Many ThanksSandra
