I need to upgrade from online standard payroll to advanced payroll mid tax year. Does the advanced automatically pick up the employees data that exists in the standard system or does it only effectively start a new payroll where i will need to key existing data from the standard system?
Hi I didnt know i could claim employee allowance and have missed this on 12 months of payroll for myself and my other director. How do I claim back the relevant employee allowance? Can it be done in Quick books? Thanks

How do i generate a P11 report in Advance Payroll. This feature was available and easily accessible in PaySuite but unfortunately doesn't appear to be available in Advance Payroll.
I am trying to claim employment allowance but the EPS does not offer that option even though I ticked the box saying we were claiming it. How do I claim it when there is no box for it?
I have saved it but when I check HMRC they have not deducted the allowance from the Employers NI
HI there Anyone have any ideas as to how to resubmit my eps as had to undo all payroll and re-do last week due to maternity payments being adjusted. system won't let me re-submit it.
I have recently migrated to Quickbooks, payroll features enabled, and integrated my bank feeds. I am trying to reconcile my expenses. Since April, I have made 20 wages and salary expenses each month. I would like to add these transactions to Quickbooks from the 'review' feed; I would like to see this information in the payroll dashboard. Each transaction is a bank transfer to one of my company's employees. I realise that I likely need to import the details of this years payroll to date; however, I cannot see anywhere where I am able to input this information. I can see only that I can create a pay run from today's date at the earliest. Please may someone advise how I may import the details of past payroll; or perhaps which account these expenses should be assigned to in my chart of accounts. Thank you

We are in the process of setting up a business in the UK with a section also in the US. This being said, we have an US Employee who will be the US Director and a UK Director. The Quickbooks Account is currently setup for the UK side. How do I add a Non-UK Resident Employee to be paid with his tax information and the correct pay information?
Hi, I am using Quickbooks standard payroll online and previously when I process the weekly payroll the narrative is blank. However for the last 2 weeks it's started to automatically fill with "QBO VAT Adj" followed by a 2 digit consecutive number for each employee? If I try to delete, it automatically reappears! It would be much more helpful if it displayed the employees' name.
Hi there I set up SMP for my employee a couple of months ago and it has run along with my payroll for the past to runs, however this payroll run (august) it has not auto populated my employees payslip, what has gone wrong please, during the set top it all seemed straight forward, all dates are within the payroll run parameters also.please advise you Quickbooks gurus!

I have an employee who was incorrectly issued a P45. After a gap of 3 pay periods, can i re-activate him and what effect will this have with HMRC
I'm guessing I've made a mistake somewhere but can't work it out. I went to run our first payroll for our first employee and it calculated his gross pay ok, but seems to have added his tax deduction (less NI deduction) to his gross pay giving a NET pay some £165 more than his Gross pay. He's on a standard 1250L code and started work for me a week ago after being furloughed by his previous employer during lockdown.Any help would be much appreciated please.Thanks

I am trying to file a month 3 EPS late (I forgot to file last month) the submission is failing due to the date being after 19th July but it won't let me file month 4 without filing month 3 so I'm a bit stuck. Can anyone help?
