Hi all,We've been informed by the CRA that we owe money for CPP after a PIER review. Looked into it; turns out they were right. This is for 2019. As this is split 50/50 employee/employer, how should I make the entry when I cut a cheque? It is a small amount so is it necessary to split it with the employee involved? How would this be done for 2019? I am assuming that the CRA will be able to correctly apply it to the employee's account. Any information on this would be helpful. This is for QB Desktop. Regards, and TIA.

Good morning,I'm learning Quickbooks right now, so please be patient. I am taking over someone else's position, so I was just kind of thrown in. My employer would like a way to accrue and pay out banked hours in Quickbooks, not the spreadsheet we are currently using. And then we would like to do the same thing with Vacation pay. Is there a way to do this? Can I do both on the same file? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks Shannon
Hello, My employer is stating that my Tangerine bank account can't be setup for direct deposit payroll because the account number is 10 digits and quickbooks only allows 7 digits. The direct deposit form from Tangerine has the 10 digit code. Any help would be appreciated for how I can have these connected for direct deposit.
Only the 'profit and loss' and 'invoices' boxes open, but, not 'expenses' or 'sales' - as per usual ... 😞
Payroll direct deposit was unsuccessful. I want to view the employee direct deposit information to make sure if I entered it correctly.
its also in the wrong month, should be Jan 2 but posted Feb 2
I have just upgraded from 2020 desktop premier to 2023 desktop premier. This is also the first month ever that I am using payroll in QB. I am setting up the employees, but when I go to set up the Vacation Pay and Accrual Hours (sick pay), it says 2020, not 2023. The rest of QB (invoicing etc) is fine - it is set to the current fiscal year. Vacation Pay: Pay ($) available as of 2020-04-01 -- needs to be 2023-01-01 Pay ($) used in 2020 -- needs to be 2023 Accrual Hours: &
