Hi There, I've set up and run my first pay run on Quickbooks Online Advanced Payroll. Set all of my employees so that they should receive their payslip by email and the system processed them. Green ticks, happy days. I delayed the emails so that they would go at 06:00 a.m. today, payday. I have searched and searched, but can's find anywhere where I can see the emails have been sent successfully or what their content was. Can you tell me where I can see these payslip emails? Or alternatively, can I set up a BCC to my Payroll email address or automatically receive a copy. I need to know that the emails have gone, and what their default content is. Hello all,I have been having this issue and seems like a port or firewall issue. seeing if someone else can help.So i have a few users who remote into the server from home with RDP. when a user connects to the server and logs into quickbooks. Whoever is at the office and tries to log in, they get the error that says"it appears that QB software on copmuter (servername) is set up to allow shared access to the company file, but the QB software on your computer is unable to communicate with it." Now to fix this i need all the users that use RDP to login remotely to jump off QB and as soon as they do
Whwn entering bills from Amazon Business they are often larger than the 21 chars allowed. I wonder if anyone can help please? I am new to Quick books and just trying to consolidate my accounts for year end. I have put in some rather large invoices (around £500-£1000) and would expect to see the tax liability (ie tax payable) to automatically change after I have entered these but it doesn't seem to change at all... am I doing something wrong? The expense has registered but not taken off the tax liability (and is an expense that is allowable). Does it take a few hours or days for it to register?
Am I doing something wrong or does the Batch Upgrade feature in QuickBooks File Manager simply not work properly? When I click the Batch Upgrade button, it pops up a window where I can select the files I want to upgrade. At the top of this window it states: "QuickBooks will not be available until the upgrade is complete. Consider running Batch Upgrade when you can be away from QuickBooks for several hours." This implies that I can start the batch and then leave the computer until it's done. However, as soon as I start the batch, QuickBooks logs in to the first company file and displays the normal upgrade wizard, where I have to tick a box saying: "I understand that my company file will be upgraded to this new version of QuickBooks." I then have to manually go through the entire process of telling the upgrade wizard what country I'm in, where to save the upgraded file, where to save the backup file, and finally clicking the "Finish" button.
