Hi! I've moved from doing self-employed one day a week whilst PAYE on a few other days to now fully self-employed. This has been over two tax years. I've therefore paid tax and NI via PAYE for the tax year 2023/2024 but not for the self-employment work I've done. There isn't anywhere as far as I can see within quickbooks to account for this. I also need presumably to check with HMRC whether within my PAYE tax code my professional registration exemption applies or whether I can claim it via self-employment? Many thanks!

QB 2010 keeps saying my licence is invalid, but I've been using it for 14 years!
I use gocardless to collect payments, this month is the first time they have charged me (which is fine). I created and sent an invoice to my customer for £207.08 which they paid in full via go careless, gocardless took their £2.72 fee and transferred me £204.36. my quickbooks now shows an underpayment on that invoice of £2.72, how do I correct this to show it being fully paid by my customer? I purchased a single user licence for Desktop Pro 2016 that is installed on my laptop and I understand that Intuit will be disabling access to this in June 2023. I only use the application for my personal accounts and don't need the wages, invoicing, links to bank, etc. I do need the class (or alternative) to be able to report expenses for my different properties and the export to excel for my accountant. I am retired and my requirements do not warrant a subscription service. Has anyone managed to find an alternative similar non subscription package to purchase that will provide a similar service and also that will enable me to import the data from Quickbooks into?
Hello community. I have been a long term user of quickbooks pro in the UK latterly using 2018 pro. However after a recent disaster with a desktop we lost 2018 and its licence and we do not seem to have any way of recovering it. We still have our 2012 licence from which we upgraded to 2018 (via a 2015 interim step). Does anyone have any ideas as to how the licence can be recovered (quickbooks telephone support have been no help) or is there any availability to buy 2018 again? Help!!

Yesterday I passed my core certification exam , when I tried to download my certificate it shows me that "The resource you are looking for has been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable." I have changed my name before the exam. Now what should I do to download my certificate?
Has anyone else encountered a recent issue where the cursor disappears when tabbing between fields while filling out invoices? This problem started last week and affects all my devices—two Macs and an iPad, all using Safari. The issue seems to be specific to the latest version of Safari, as everything functions normally when using Firefox on macOS. However, we prefer Safari for its seamless machine integrations. Intuit, could you please look into this? It's quite disruptive to our workflow. Thanks!

I want to migrate my purchased version of Quickbooks Desktop Pro 2015 to my new Dell W11 laptop. I've downloaded the software but it wont accept my licence & Product codes Can anyone help?
I’ve recently connected my business bank account to my quick books account & all my transactions have appeared which I have then organised into categories. My question is, do I then have to upload all of my receipts and invoices to match each transaction? I really don’t see the point in adding my receipts if it’s all uploaded electronically via my bank account but want to double check with this one.
We are a Small charity with 4 shops - will go to EPOS shortly and also animal shelter manager software.If the sales are recorded through these sources, can I upload to QB via CSV or automatic rather than at present manually typing in everything? Thanks

HiI currently have 7 employees on a weekly payroll. 5 of them I am fine with as it pulls through to the bank transactions; however 2 of them are paid with cash. Is there anyone out there that can either talk me through how I record this, or point me in the right direction for a tutorial. When I search in help all I get is paying a supplier in cash, which I'm fine with Unfortunately our accountants do not have a member of staff that can help with payroll issues Thank you in advance for your helpTeresa

I reconcile my bank account on QuickBooks Desktop each month so that it matches the business bank statements however my accountant contacted me today to say my the trial balance don’t match the bank statement. How is this possible, when the reconciliation is matched to my bank account monthly. How do I find where the difference is and what caused it?
today we are unable to switch between companies, we are having to sign out and sign back in to change the company we are working on. Has anyone managed to resolve this issue? It's taking up valuable time and is quite frustrating
In Settings, under Profile there was an option to switch company. It disappeared today?
