Any users receiving notifications via the Bell icon on QBO homepage?We have been using QBO since Jan 2022 and have never received any notifications.I was informed by QBO support (on Chat) today, that it's for notifying customers of updates. Same day I was informed by QB team member on Community it's for reminders for recurring transactions. Why such conflicting information? We have never received any notifications. Secondly, we have reminders set up for recurring transactions but never get reminders. QBO Support told me today you have to physically select the reminder list in recurring transactions and view your reminders - remind myself to look up the list of reminders?So if anyone gets reminders through this, I'd love to know what they are? It's not in HELP!

Can someone tell me WHY QB feels it is OK to insert automatic adjustments without reference to me in my accounts? I am trying to finalise my 2023 year-end accounts and I see that QB has inserted an erroneous journal ( 6 Dec 2023) that leaves a credit balance on my TB for an account I closed off 3 years previously! WHAT are you doing QB? For me this is a gross intrusion on my company's business and makes your online system questionable in terms of security. QB should not have access to my transactions. You cant just write off something to the share capital account and leave a balance on the TB for an account that has been deactivated 3 years previously? I am sure If I try to correct this myself I will have more issues further down the line. Please now advise me - simply - how to rectify this without causing issues further down the line. I see on your US pages this has been something of an issue for people, and I have to say the replies those folks received from QB are NO
We run a management company, and in Sage we were able to put all expenses and income relating to a particular client into their single ledger. What is the best way to do that in QBO, given that none of the ledger accounts seem to fit the description. Also, we often buy products for multiple clients, but these cannot be allocated to different ledger accounts when creating a bill??
Hi there,I am new to an organisation – and QB – and a problem has arisen during my first monthly reconciliation. Any help would be hugely appreciated.Basically QB is bringing up a Reconciliation Discrepancy Report showing that two previously reconciled transactions were deleted by my predecessor just before they left.As far as I can see it looks like the incoming payments were then recorded against a sales invoice. Why are they then still causing issue, and how can I resolve this please?Many thanks
The new enhanced versions of the open purchase orders report is now appeared. There seems to be missing information in the description column from the PO’s in the listing. Please fix this as it makes life harder.
All records are fine either side of these missing transactions. How can i get them to show up ? Or can i add them manually ? Or wil this cause a problem in the long run ?
Hi, is there a way to convert a customer into a job, i.e. to make one existing customer the job of another or new customer? For example, one customer has bought another customer but operations are to be kept separate. Please note that I do not want to merge the customers as this would not achieve my aim as operations are to be kept separate. Many thanks.
6 Months Ago we migrated over from Desktop to QBO but are still having issues. I am trying to talk to someone who may know how to rectify these but when I call the helpline I'm advised they cannot help with migration issues. How can I contact someone who may be able to help me?
I have a contact that is both customer and supplier. QBO will not allow me to use the same contact for both transactions. I do not want to have 2 separate contacts with a number at the end or beginning. I want this to be one contact, any suggestions.
I'm now getting this in both my buisness accounts. VAT keeps disappearing from the bookmarks menu in the side bar. It dropped off the list twice which was fine, I re-added it. Now, it's totally dropped of the option to have it as a bookmarks all together. I've now check on FIVE computers using both Safari and Firefox, plus my iPhone and 3 iPads and it just not having it.There seems to be a bug somewhere. But, I guess this post will be just a watse of time. I'll now get a reply from one of the reply bots asking me to clear my cache, browser history and using a private browser window, or use Chrome or some such tosh. Intuit, fix your product for crying out loud.
Another stupid, unnecessary annoyance. No I don't wish to upgrade to Advanced, so why keep asking every few days it's a joke and is distracting. There should be a check box "please don't ask me again"We didn't have a choice in moving from QBD to QBO so can we please have a choice NOT to be constantly asked about upgrading. It's really bad practice on Intuit to do the hard sell within the service. It's just getting worse.
Im in the entertainment industry and I am allowed to claim back on theatre tickets etc as research and and obviously meals and entertainment for networking and trying to arrange work etc. However virtually all of it is being categorised as disallowed, even when I change some of them to 50% split (I think that's the new rule?). How can `I move them?
When inputting a bill I use to be able to add the tag immediately then save & close, now I have to save then add tag, then save & close, this adds extra key strokes. Considering we add about 200/250 per week it slows down the process. This is an intentional change or something that was not spotted when an upgrade was done. Can we please have it back the way it was. Thanks
Hi, My client (in the UK) is using Quickbooks Desktop (UK Version) on his PC. I downloaded Quickbooks Desktop (UK Version) on my PC (In the UAE) and would like to set it up. The application is asking for the License Number and the Product Number. I need assistance on how to set it up on my PC -•the process of how to do it•the limitations•can Quickbooks Desktop be used only on a single PC?•is it required to surrender the license to use it on my PC?A prompt response is appreciated. Hello, Question: If I wasn't working during a period of time but I still had expenses for my trade, can I claim for expenses during this period or can you only claim expenses from the month you started earning? Thanks

Hello all, I'm having issues submitting my clients CT600. my submission keeps coming back as 'unsuccessful' Has anyone else experienced this problem? I'm following the steps that are listed on QB web and it's still not working. my credentials are all on the system. the CT600 looks correct, I have no errors. I have converted CT600 pdf in to xhtml. I'm unsure of what else to do. Spoken to QB help, they weren't able to help Spoken to HMRC, they were not able to give explanation of an error code, but logged the call and I'm still waiting to hear back from them Thank you Reda V.
Intuit, by all means use GMT for us UK users, but using the 'only us Americans can process' date. The rest of the world uses day, month, year. Not sure we have a 12th of the 15th month lol
