When raising an estimate getting error ‘QuickBooks encountered an error while calculating tax. Try reselecting the tax rate or reentering the product / service item and save the form again. I cannot seem to get it to work. Any advice or help please? Just upgrade my iPad to a new one and this error returns when I try to raise a new estimate.
Hi, we are an Online Retailer and use QuickBooks in conjunction with a Multi-Channel Software Platform.We are currently using QuickBooks Pro 2012 Desktop UK Version on a PC running Windows 7 and post a daily Sales Journal from the Multi-Channel Software Platform to QuickBooks.Unfortunately, we have hit a major brick wall as the PC has decided to call it a day and has become extremely slow and has had better days.This has created a big problem for us, as inevitably it has forced us to update the PC and the current version of QuickBooks.Buying a new PC with Windows 11 is not an issue.The issue is that QuickBooks have decided to discontinue QuickBooks Desktop Version and that is the option we require as the Multi-Channel Software Platform can only post the daily Sales Journal to the Desktop Version and not the Online Version.The other issue I have is how I get the Company File (QuickBooks Pro 2012 Desktop UK Version) to be able to open in a newer version of QuickBooks. Hi, I am having an issue with mileage recording. I record via the mobile app and select "Business" and select an option from the "Business purpose" drop down then save the recoded mileage. Trouble is when viewed in the desktop version the saved details are shown as Unreviewed and both the "Business" and "Business purpose" settings are missing - hence why its unreviewed I guess.Anyone know the problem? Hi, I use QBooks for one of my Client with Payroll processed monthly on a different software. I need help with how to post the correct monthly payroll JRN to reflect wages paid from bank account as well as PAYE/NI liability.I have set up Expense/Payroll Expenses X Employee for each employee - this is as far as I got.I also need to post the Employer Allowance to reflect the monthly allowance for NI given by HMRC and need to find out the correct JRN entry.

Good morning, I am looking for some guidance re recording my mileage. I intend to automatically track my mileage via the app, does this mean I do not need to add any fuel receipts? Currently, I have done both, labelling fuel receipts as travelling expenses, but I am worried I am double counting? Any help is much appreciated :)

A client I have does not close out the books at all, I'm not even sure what reports she gave to her CPA to complete taxes for last year.
