Hi, I am working with a Canadian client who processes USD sales through Stripe. The Stripe payout is to a USD bank account. Currently the payout is added as a bank deposit to the sales income account, but thee is no conversion to CDN. How do I enter the Stripe sale into QBO so the exchange from USD to CDN shows on the P&L?

Hi!We are currently using Quickbooks Payments for our invoices and I want to make sure our fees are being categorized properly. Like bank fees, are they also exempt from HST? Or is HST included them?Thank you!
We have sales that include HST and don't include HST at our business. We also accept tips. Our POS system does not integrate well with QB. So, when we get our bulk deposits from Visa or MC or whatever, I call them "sales" inclusive of HST when I accept them into QB. These sales include the final amount that are rung in through the POS terminal: Tax, and tip included. I would like to figure out how to separate the HST inclusive sales, the non HST sales and the tips, and still ensure that I am not overcapturing HST. I can pull reports from the POS system to see how much tax was rung through and how many tips and were collected. BUT, the POS system, in this report show which of these sales were Cash or not. Not sure how to best make the adjustments to make it accurate. Any ideas?
I just started the books but noticed early on that a credit card was showing in the chart of accounts. I found the other side of the transaction and deleted $400, but the credit card is still showing up as $400. It's also affecting my balance sheet. How do I get rid of this? Will making it inactive work?

Hi, I am putting together a PO to send to a vendor. All of our PO are custom non inventory because we are engaged in custom fabrication of prototype HVAC systems. When I receive a quote from a supplier they ask for a PO and I fill in the product amount they have provided. I typically get a 2% discount for early payment and I want to know how I can add this to my PO. I have created a new product called 2% discount and it is a negative number of the total which needs to be subtracted. This creates the right amount in the subtotal but the tax rate is based off the total amounts of the line items, NOT the subtotal. How can I fix this? thanks
We are looking for a software solution to batch process individual invoices for each sales order, hundreds per day. The link below provides a solution but it appears that they no longer support the program and there is no contact info for the company. We also need to bulk enter the shipping site. Hello all. New user here.I need to convert my files from Quicken Home and Office 2019 to Quickbooks Desktop Pro 2020. The tutorials I have been able to dig up are for Quickbooks Desktop Pro 2019, and my version does not have a File - Utilities - Convert option. It simply is not there. And when I try and download the converter from the tutorial it downloads but will not launch. Anybody out there can offer some advice please.
