I'm hoping you can help me find a copy of QuickBooks update 190r7_93_3n_STD.exe (or later). I downloaded that from support.intuit.ca in 2015, the last time I had to re-install QuickBoooks, but it is no longer available on your website. For may years I kept the accounts of my small business on QuickBooks, and although I am now retired, I need to refer to the accounts occasionally. I recently had a disk failure, and although I have my original installation CD from QuickBooks, and backups of my company files, I can't open my files without the update. I hope you can assist.

Hi, my husband and I started an incorporated company and I have been trying to do the bookkeeping. I've been using quickbooks online and I understand how to do things on the technical side (how to log expenses etc) but I am feeling lost and overwhelmed when it comes to knowing WHERE to put things. For example, I dont know where or how to log the transfer of funds that we "pay" ourselves with. I also don't know where or how to enter in our overhead costs like house insurance, property insurance, property taxes, hydro bills, (I understand that there is only a percentage allowed ) etc etc. My question is does anyone know of a mentor/buddy program that I can join where I can have someone who can help me along when I need it? Does such a program exist? (I'm In Canada if that matters). Thanks for reading and for any helpful information. I moved to QB Online a few years back, because of the promise of ease of use and ease of sharing with my accountant. Overall, my experience of QBO has gone from bad to worse to even worse. I am looking for a way to migrate back to QB Desktop (or, even better, to Freshbooks or any one of the other small-business accounting systems that have popped up) Among other frustrations, reconciling bank accounts has gone from tedious to disastrous. QBO automagically matches a whole pile of invoices to a bunch of different customers to a single payment on my bank feed. And usually, the total of all the invoices is wildly different from the payment. Printed invoices do not contain an invoice number. You have to find the secret setting that lets you add an invoice number, and then enter it manually as QBO is incapable of dropping the number into that field (it can drop it into others that the customer cannot see, and into the covering email).
