Need an expert to shrink QB Desktop company file. Company file size is too big and needs to be reduced. Any suggestions on what options are available or provide a vendor who can assist with shrinking QB Desktop company file.
I purchased a laptop which came with Windows 11. When I installed the 2023 desktop edition, it gave me a warning that the PDF component was missing. I uninstalled it, and reinstalled it with the same message. I ran updates, thinking the Intuit would have a fix for a windows 11 problem by now. No change. I ran the Tool Hub, but even it says it is for Windows 10. Again, no change. When I try to save an invoice as pdf, it tells me it can't. How do I fix this issue? My other computer is dying so I need to be able to work on this laptop.
Hello. I've removed some old comments from the Notes field in the Customer details. When I look at the database from the backend, I can still see the comments. I've refreshed and I am using a live db link so the deleted comments should have disappeared. I still see them in both CustomerAdditionalNote.Notes and CustomerShipToAddress.Notes. Any help is appreciated.
I've started my 2023 taxes. When I try to pull a QuickBooks file for a rental condo (Business Income and Expenses), Turbotax quickly says, "No QuickBooks Desktop file has been found." This is even when the file is concurrently open in QuickBooks. This is an import that has been successful in past years. Turbotax is 2023 Home & Business. QB is 2021 Desktop.
We are using the current version of QB Enterprise - Mfg and having issues with the "Close" Button when entering serial numbers in a Sales Order. The program crashes (most times/sometimes not) and we have to start over on the Sales Order. However the "Save and Close" button, but it's a real pain to have to go back in and enter the next Serial Number, especially if you have or more Serial Numbers to enter. Have tried closing the program and restarting it, but with no ascertainable effect.
Please i need to customize my VAT Summary details such that it displats Vatable amount separately and VAT Exemped total separately. How can i do this?
If it add it to their name, it shows up as their first name. Manually editing thousands of name is not a realistic option

Hello, Our company currently pays employees via cheques but I am wanting to switch to direct deposit. We currently have 2024 Quickbooks Desktop Pro with Payroll. I was wondering which third party apps other users have had success with for direct deposit for their employees. I know Telpay is the one recommended but I have heard of others using Treasury Software? Or do others just export and pay through their banks? Just want some feedback from those who have used the third party apps to see which option they have had success with. Located in lower mainland, BC, Canada. Thank You.
Can someone please explain (Intuit can't!) why we are paying a monthly fee for payroll, as well as $4 per employee (doubled in cost)? I do not use QuickBooks to actually make payments to employees, just to calculate pay. I don't understand this - why wouldn't processing pay cheques be included in the monthly charge?
I have been using the Quickbooks web connect to import Scotia Bank visa statements for many years, All of the sudden I get an error message saying: Quickbooks found an error. We can't read the file your financial institution sent. Error Code OL-222. I have tied various times over the last few days with no luck. On a seperate note, I have to chrome on the same machine to download the .qbo file as the browser built into quickbooks just gives an error when trying to login to scotiabank. It's a scotiabank error: "Sorry, web couldn't complete your request." Does anyone else have issues logging in directly in QB?
Hello.I worked as sole proprietor, and later opened a corporation and transferred the inventory into corporation as shareholder loan.In QB Online Plus I shown this transfer by two transactions in different times – one is “Inventory Starting Value” and the second is “Bill”. As the result, both added the inventory into QB, but both of them affect on accounts wrong.I would appreciate for advice how to fix both transactions, so that they should add inventory in items (but not as total amount) and affect on proper accounts:1) “Inventory Starting Value” affected on the “Opening balance” account and changed it from 0, as it should be, to the amount of goods.2) “Bill” added cost of goods to “Account payable”, but not to “Shareholder loan” account. P.S. I know how to transfer Inventory to Corporation through Journal Entry, but it allows to enter the total cost of inventory. However, I need to transfer inventory in separate goods in pieces to use FIFO.Thank you.
QuickBooks won't allow me to send invoices via email. I have selected outlook as the preferred method but it keeps coming up with close any open outlook windows. It won't send with or without outlook open or closed

How do I block the very annoying ad for QBO that keeps popping up in Desktop? My only choices are "try product" or "later" so it keeps coming back. Grrr!
I used to be able to enter an invoice or sales receipt and then press enter and it would save it, then go on and add another invoice, etc. But a few weeks ago, that has now changed. I have to manually click on save and new- Any idea how to fix this?
With respect to the planned changes to Payroll plans, if we remain on the Core plan, I noticed that it doesn't include "Employee Access" - does this mean that on the Core Plan our employees will no longer have access to WorkForce? Will they still be able to complete their own information when invited to WorkForce as well as access all the current functionality in WorkForce?
Can some please help me understand , entering a payment in 2024 for an invoice dated in 2022. How can I credit this payment without messing up my books for 2022?

Hello, I am trying to print estimates and invoices using a customized template however the RHS and bottom of my logo get cut off. The templates used to work fine at the beginning of the year now this problem has started. I have down loaded the QB tool Hub and followed the process in there and no joy. I have also done all the MS updates and rebooted the computer several times just to make sure all the updates have applied. I know this isn't the end of the world but it just doesn't look professional when your logo is all messed up. Anyone ran into this before or have any suggestions please.
