If I order more inventory and the price of the item has increased since my last purchase. How do I update to the new price. I do not want to create another item with different costs.
Hi, The system shows that I have partially matched the transaction. Therefore, I would like to ask how to find this partial match transaction and delete it. So that, I can remove the bank transaction. Thank you.
Has any one figured out a fix to the problem of Quickbooks software not opening because it needs Windows Explorer 6.0 ? I've been using QB Pro 2009 since... well... 2009. I have a lot of info I cannot access and I'd like to keep using it. Thank you for your help.
QB begins to open, asks for my password, minimizes, and then freezes without opening. When I hover over the minimized icon, the screen pops up, but it is greyed out and will not remain when I move my cursor. Help?
Hi, I'm interested in appearing for the 3 certification exams i.e Basic (Level 1), Advanced (Level 2) and Payroll certifications for ProAdvisor and have the following questions. I learned that QB has made updates to the exams so appreciate your responses to my question below in the same order. Thanks much in advance! 1) I heard that QBOA changed the certification exams I mentioned earlier so, did they make them tougher to pass?2) Did they update the training content for the 3 exams accordingly?3) Did they change any rules regarding how many attempts I can make before they ask me to wait 60 days to retake?4) I read on QBOA forum a few months back that many people were complaining that the training provided by QBOA is not good and the questions being asked on the exams are not within the training. Has QBOA rectified this issue with the updates they did?5) How long does it take approximately to pass the 3 exams? Please suggest a range based on doing it full-time vs part-time.6)

How do I turn off that prompt? We have to say no every time we save an invoice, and it is a huge pain when we're creating multiple invoice for the same customer. I need the "update" turned off!
We use QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions Desktop - Contractor 21.0 Does anyone know of a good AP workflow automation software that installs locally and stores invoice images locally? I have looked at Bill.com, Centsoft, Stampli, MineralTree, AvidXChange, Beanworks and all have fallen short of what I am looking for. I am used to software like Sage Paperless and Timberline Paperless This is my preferred process (all performed inside AP software)Scan in batches of invoices into AP Software (one file)Go through & quickly separate the batch file into individual invoices (typically by just clicking the spacebar)Switch to coding screenCode invoices and then click submitThen various rules are automatically ran in background to assign approvers based on job #, vendor #, Invoice $$, etc.Invoice then routes through all levels of approvalsOnce highest level of approval has been completed, then invoice is ready for payment Below is a list of problems I ran into with the above

We have consultants traveling to client sites and billing our clients for travel expenses. I've got the consultants capturing these receipts, reviewing them, entering Expense information, they are Billable items showing in the Add to Invoice window and available to add to the invoice. That much works fine. When the Billable Expenses are added to the invoice, the only information showing on the invoice from these Billable Expenses are the Date, Description and Amount fields. The Product/Service field sits empty and unused. I have setup the Product and Services List with various categories of our billable travel expenses (e.g., lodging, airfare, transportation, meals). But if I choose a Product/Service for an added Billable Expense, QBO removes the Description and Date and zeroes out the Amount. All the information from the Expense is lost. I have a desktop version of QB on a Windows laptop. The laptop has died and I have a backup of our QB as of approximately 2 weeks ago saved on a USB drive. Rather than purchase another laptop, I'd really prefer to install QB on my iMac. Here are my questions : 1. How do I install QB on the iMac? Do I have to re-purchase QB for Mac? Can it be Desktop version or must I do online version? 2. Can I use the backup from a Windows based laptop (and Windows based QB) to transfer info to my "new" QB program on the iMac? Any suggestions? I sent my accountant a portable file to work on. While she had it I had to run payroll and make liability payments. I received the portable file back, how do I get the changes I made in my version into the accounts portable file? When I open the accountant's portable file it's showing I did not make last months federal/state liability payments. How do I get these entered into the accountants portable file? Thank you.
I could use some insight on the best way to correct our pending builds. Issue - I have pending builds from tax years that have been closed. The issue will be as follows: At the end of each tax year a physical inventory is performed and inventory adjustments are made. Both Positive and Negative counts will be entered and adjusted. In this tax year, I have found builds marked as pending from prior tax years. What would be the suggested process to repair this? If I delete the build, wont the inventory correction have already taken into account this pending build, making it null and void? Any help that can be provided would be appreciated.
The invoicing system just doesn't even work, it's broken beyond belief. Not only is it nigh on impossible to actually have it send an invoice to a clients email, that I literally just gave it: I have to send it to myself and then forward it on manually. But also when the invoice link is clicked, one of many things can happen. Firstly and most likely is that it completely fails to link to said invoice and you have to go back several times until it populates the screen with the invoice. Second is that it just doesn't display properly, often leaving off my all important bank details so my client then had to ask me why I don't have my bank details on my invoices. Thirdly, the pay option never works. Every one of my clients who have tried to use it have said that it refuses to take payment insisting that my bank details are not correct when they very much are. When I goto SALES -> ALL SALES -- This is what my sales transactions look like. The number of open invoices says 793! When I click it and show all the open invoices, I have maybe 30ish. As well - if I show all open credit memos, there are also only a few. The number 793 is WILDLY inaccurate. What can I do to get this figured out? Thank You in Advance,JR

Are there any options for Accountants to efile 1099s for multiple clients in Quickbooks dekstop? From what I read about Quickbooks Contractor, you have to setup a separate account for each business which would be too difficult. I need less than 50 forms and I'm tired of paying for Quick Employer Forms.
We recently migrated from Desktop to Online. How do I get rid of old Time entries that will never be Billed out? Some are close to 15 years old. I've got hundreds so I'm looking for a Batch process to get rid of the old time entries in QBO and inactivate the clients. I do not want to delete each individual entry. Thank you.
