Hi, we are thinking of moving to QuickBooks Online and when transferring the backup file to QuickBooks Online from Desktop, can you only transfer for example the past two years of data to Online or can you only transfer everything since we started using Desktop. Thanks

How do I record capitalized interest on a business loan that was on payment deferral?Payments on our business loan have resumed, but the outstanding balance of the loan is now grater than the balance on our books. What is the proper way to adjust for this? (Not PPP or CARES Act related)
An invoice has been sent, viewed, and paid. The amount has cleared bank acct, but QB is still showing all invoices as being outstanding, and the status of this PAID invoice still only reads "sent." I haven't been able to find a way to manually change the status to "paid" by using the "action" drop-down menu. Why isn't QB updating, and is there a way to manually change the status of an invoice?
In QuickBooks time, I can't assign Time Off Codes besides holidays to employees becuase we use QuickBooks Payroll and they need to be assigned there. When I go to Employees in QB Payroll, employees do have time off rules assigned to them in QB Payroll and do have available time off. When I go back to QB Time, I still can't assign any codes besides holidays for them, and they can't log any time off because they don't have any available codes.
I can't for the life of me figure out why these 3 imports are getting an out of balance error.I've successfully imported several invoices with this same format. I was trying to run final pay cheque for one of my employee but there is no option for final pay cheque. If I run regular payroll, change his employment status and try to issue ROE then there is error in Colum 12 and says: These blocks have missing or invalid info. You won't be able to download the ROE BLK file until it's resolved: Block 12 If someone can help me step by step in this, that would be appreciated.
I've set up my items in inventory with a sales price. Unfortunately, when I create an estimate and select an item, the sales price doesn't carry over with the item. Am I overlooking something?
For weeks now, QBO keeps updating, and not in ANY good ways. I have to keep going back to my dashboard and rearranging the connected bank/credit card accounts. Then, I have to keep going through "what's new" and clicking through all of your b.s. pop-ups. The hovering? Holy hell. It's a hovering disaster. I can't move my mouse without it hovering over some navigation menu and just SITTING THERE. The question? Well, the obvious one is why?But the only practical one is how do I stop it from updating? How can I stop it from changing my screen? Version? I just want to work, I don't need f'ing enhancements that DO NOTHING.
I have payments showing up in Unapplied Cash Bill Payment Expense, but these bills are already showing entered and paid. I can't figure out how to clear the Unapplied account on my statement.

I am trying to verify the bank account to complete the Payroll Tax online filing process. The original deposit from QuickBooks online was .37 but it was on 11/18/2020. When I client on Verify your account, it won't accept the amount. I assume this is because it was about four years ago. How do I resend the test deposit or bypass this? My bank account is connected to QuickBooks online and transactions are already automatically entered in QuickBooks from the bank feed, so bank is verified. I just need to get passed this step when setting up to file payroll taxes electronically.
Hello , I use QuickBooks Premier 2019 . I created a few Inventory Assembly items and the build of materials for this assemblies are inventory items . My issue is that when the Inventory Assembly is created and I invoice it , it is not deducting those build of materials items individually from my inventory . For example , The assembly item number is AF001 And this assembly item is made out of my inventory item bill of materials QTY 1 AF002 & QTY 1 AF003 . When I invoice AF001 , AF002 & AF003 Are not deducted individually from my inventory. Not sure what I might be doing wrong , Any help will be appreciated

When I go into Bill Tracker, it shows a balance under Unpaid Bills and lists out all my Item Receipts. The Status column for these Item Receipts shows Open. But all of the bills associated with the receipts are paid. If I look at AP Aging, it shows 0 bills open. How do I close out the Item Receipts so Bill Tracker accurately shows what my Unpaid Bills balance is. Or do I need to forget Bill Tracker and just use my reports.
