I am a single owner LLC therefore IRS treats me as a disregarded entity. I have always been instructed to use MY NAME on line one and the Trade name on line two. This wasn’t even an option when reviewing the data for 1099! I’m so stressed!
I do the IT work for several customers who use QB Desktop Pro 2021 in Multi-User. One of those customers is also running Payroll Basic. We're in the process of replacing both of the Quickbooks PC's, the QB server and client for use in Mult-User Mode. I've read that the Migrator tool does not copy the Payroll configuration and data to the new PC so I'm planning on installing QB on both PCs and setting up Multi-User and using the QBB file to restore the company file on the server. Does the QBB backup file contain everything that is needed to restore the company file AND all necessary payroll configuration and information to the new PC? If not, what needs to be done to ensure that payroll works and no data is lost? Thanks,, Dave
I am creating an estimate for the first time and for some reason the data filed for Subtotal, Sales Tax, and Total are on the screen but the textboxes are blank, and No $$$ Amount is showing on the PDF, only the screen. The dollar AMOUNT is blank. I have checked the Formatting and for "Footer" both the screen and print boxes are checked, so why is the estimate not showing the $$$ amount in these boxes? I recently updated desktop to 2024. I use Intuit Data Protect for automatic backup of the three companies I work in. Before the upgrade, companies would back up even if they were open, but ever since the upgrade, I get a message that the one that I have open failed to backup.The following files did not backup because they were open or not reachableIf I close the company and repeat the backup, it works, but I'm guessing there's a fix for this that I'm just not figuring out so they'll backup even when open. Anyone?Thanks!

Hello,We're getting this error when running Condense on our company file. We've noticed we can run a condense successfully back to 1/1/2018. But if I try to do 1/1/2019 we get the error in the QBWin.log file: "LVL_ERROR--Error: Unable to read company file attributes - owner id = {....." - It shows some numbers/letters for the owner id, but not all of them. We've been in touch with Data Services, they say we have negative inventory. I don't understand how that can be the problem when it allows us to condense to 1/1/2018... we had negative inventory then too. (Fixing the negative inventory would be a last resort as there's some 14000 records on 1200 products going back to 2009, many of them discontinued or products like gift cards that you don't order)I'm hoping I can figure out what's triggering this issue. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

We had a customer pay an invoice using QuickBooks online Via American Express . QuickBooks merchant services held the transaction for a review and asked for documentation. We submitted and as a resolution- QuickBooks offered to pay 50% of the deposit and then another 50% in 30 days. They currently have held on to the money and have released nothing to us. They did take the customers money, and they are expecting us to perform the work- even though we did not receive the funds. The system has been in review since June 9th. We get an email everyday saying that we need to login to the resolution center and submit documents - The documents they want literally say “null” and “null” like it’s an error. When we login to the resolution center, it says all documents have been submitted. We have called about 10 times in total- and after about an hours wait on each call- we are told someone will contact us in 24 hours. Here we are almost 2 we
