The GL account is a rebate/commissions account and it's in the income section not COGS.

In prior years our processing of 1099s within QuickBooks correctly showed our LEGAL name as well as our dba name. (dba printed below the Legal Name)This year the 1099s were generated with only the DBA name.The IRS rejected those 1099s and we VOIDED them within QuickBooks and recreated them – however, only the LEGAL name displayed on these. We will communicate with our vendors regarding this change.QuickBooks support said we cannot print both; why was that feature removed?
QBDT Pro+ 2023How do we know who is logged on to the current session of QuickBooks? Seems to me I heard of a way to be able to see the current users but I can't find it. I thought it might be through Messenger, but I couldn't even find Messenger on QuickBooks. When I did a search for Messenger, it said to go to File | Utilities | Enable Messenger .... but when I went to File | Utilities there was no option for anything about Messenger. I'm sure that QB must have come out with some method to see who is using a multi-user system, no?

I have 3 small businesses. I'm a live performing musician. I do some freelancing social media/YouTube internet as a business and I am being paid as a CareTaker out of a family Trust. I am wondering if I can keep track of the income and expenses of each business using just ONE account in Quickbooks? I've been using Excel but it is labor intensive at tax time and when someone asks for a P/L statement, it's a pain in the butt to make up one. It is possible to tag or label each business in a way separately in Quickbooks so I can see each business and run totals on them separately? Thanks for your reply.
Under recent files in the open file window, and under file>open recent, there are only 10 files. You used to be able to edit the number of files that show up here - up to 20. Does the desktop for mac 2024 version have this setting somewhere?
