Good morning, How do I register the sending of money from the owner of a company from his personal account (not the company's) to his employee's personal account to make expenses for the company? Is it correct to set up a bank account (checking) with the employee's name and register the sending of money as a "partner investment" and register the expenses that the employee makes in this account in order to set up a record and know if he owes money or he owes money to the company? Attached is a screenshot of how I am doing it.
Hi,How do I update the default email templet for a statement in QuickBooks online?
On 8-28-23, the sales receipt template that was set as default, that we've been using for 3yrs, all of sudden stopped working. I, the primary user, can still save our sales receipts with the template(although it no longer automatically does it. I have to manually select the preferred template even though it's checked as default). Our other users cannot save any sales receipt with the template we created. It saves it in a weird format with most of the important information missing. I feel like Quickbooks Online did an update over the weekend and now this simple function has become complicated and affecting our flow of work.
I'm using Quick Books Enterprise 23.0. I had designed an invoice and was able to use colors on it and print them off with the color. I recently changed the design of the invoice but now I can't add the colors that I once had. And I can't get the original invoice that I was using back. How can I add color to the redesigned invoice that I want to use?

Hello, I am very frustrated after the last recent update. I use a third-party platform to upload my company invoices into QuickBooks Online which used to work perfectly for over a year. However, after the recent update, these invoices are now uploaded automatically under a template named "Modern". Even thou I already set up my new personalized format, this is still not working. I tried to contact support with no luck spending hours on the phone and chatting but unfortunately, looks like these people have no idea how to resolve it or at least find the problem. Now I have to change my templates manually before they are sent to my customers.

I entered a new customer and sent him an invoice, but his name was not in on the invoice at all -- only his address was in the "Bill to" box. I only realized this after I had sent him the invoice. That makes me look foolish. His name is no where on the invoice. My question is, WHY WAS HIS NAME NOT ON THE INVOICE IN THE "BILL TO" BOX above the address??
I have a couple vendors that I would like to inactivate but I keep getting this message: "This vendor cannot be deleted because it is used in unbilled charges." They have a $0 balance and we don't owe them anything. How can I deactivate them?
2 part question -1) - What is the best practice to clean up mistakes in QBDT (Enterprise 2022). Is it best to use "Condense Data", or is there another option? IF I use Condense Data, and some of that data is from a past year which also relates to current transactions, will that condensed data still be available, still show on reports, etc.? 2) I have yet to update my 2022 QBDT to 2023. I did try once and it indicated there was not enough room.I'm assuming if/after I condense data, that issue will be moot? Any insight would be appreciated.
My non-profit sports association uses QB Mac 2021. We started a podcast recently, and I want to have some sort of separation/budget for the income and expenses for this podcast. Will be using the same bank account, but I want to separately track the donations we receive and spending we do just for the podcast. I don't really know the best way to get started or set this up, and I'm seeking advice from the community. Thanks

I typically work with several different company files. Is there a way to open QB without opening a company file.I'm tired of opening QB waiting for a company file to load only having to close it and then selecting the company I wanted in the first place.
Hello all, We're issuing payment links from QBO to a client. They're sending the links together with internally generated invoices (from their management system) to clients, and clients are using the link to pay via Intuit's payment processing. While the payments are flowing through to the books, and are hitting the correct clients, it's not closing off against the invoice. We have to do that final step ourselves. Any way we can tweak the links so that they do that final step? Client has a lot of identically priced invoices; this is liable to end in a mess. 😞 Thanks in advance

My laptop crashed and I have reloaded quickbooks on another laptop. I can only activate the package via phone but I am not able to get a validation code from quickbooks as the service is discontinued. How will I get a validation code?
Need help! It is my first time creating a QBOA account and I was able to sign in on the website after filling out the sign in details on my laptop. But after the sign in loading screen, my account has a transparent gray layer screen that I can't bypass. I have tried using chrome instead of edge but same result. Also tried on my Ipad still has the transparent gray layer screen. However, when I tried on my mobile browser, I can use my account normally. No gray screen layers. I have cleared my all my cache and cookies, refreshed my screen, and everything to troubleshoot.
I made the horrible mistake of subscribing for state and federal compliance posters you hang in your office. They take your money and let's say you're supposed to get them before 2024 so you can hang them in your office. I've done this for two years now and I don't get them until the end of the year when they're no good and you need to re-order. It's a joke, and then, when you call somebody to ask what's going on you get routed from one person to the next person to the next person to the next person I've never seen nothing like it. Nobody knows about it no way to cancel it if anybody has had this problem before, please let me know. I really need help. Thank you.
We are using Visa Per Diem cards thru Dash Solutions for employees who travel out of town. I have to transfer funds from my bank to our Dash Solutions Per Diem account. My question is how do I enter this transaction? Is Dash Solutions a vendor or do I list as a bank account? I'm not sure what to on this one. Thank you in advance if you have the solution!
Does Intuit have and publish any sort of change log or release notes for when they make changes to their QB Online program? I have found - too many times - something major in the program will change, without explanation. The issue today took me well over an hour to solve, and QB support was of ZERO help. Note: I am NOT talking about the transaction audit log inside QuickBooks.
I was told it was under investigation.
