Looking for xls files of sample lists to upload (e.g., Customers, Vendors) to use with Education Curriculum (TAD Gaming and Sushi Coma). Instructional manual refers to files, yet I cannot find them on Education Portal.
I am in the process of upgrading to QB Desktop Pro Plus 2023, but I'm stuck. We've already purchased the upgrade and I downloaded it this morning. Where I'm stuck is opening the company file. I find the file, but it keeps telling me "This company file needs to be updated. Please ask your QuickBooks Administrator to update the file.". I did an update in our QB 2020, saved a backup and still get this same message. What do I need to do differently? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I've recently converted to QuickBooks Online and am now having check printing issues. I ran through check alignment to get the amount in the correct place, but now all the other check voucher information is not printing correctly. If I put the amount in the correct box, the bottom voucher information prints on the top voucher. I'm not finding a way to align the different areas of the check separately.
I use recurring invoices for most of my billing and I have credit cards disabled. However when I have a create a non recurring invoice it always defaults to “allow to pay with credit card”. How do I default it to disable credit cards for all invoices recurring and non recurring?
How can I get this done? I have QuickBooks Accountant Desktop 2019 and cannot figure it out. I tried calling support but, of course, they were NO help at all.

Hello. I have been using QB Enterprise for many years now and have run into a problem recently that I need help with. Over the years, we have run into a problem where our item numbers do not fit in the Item column. Simple fix was to go into the Layout Designer and increase the width of the column. Recently we started using the Backordered column for our Sales Orders. This column only shows up when an order is partial invoiced. We noticed that when you print a new Sales Order without invoices against it, the item column width changes, so we would go into Layout Designer and increase the width of the column. However, when you invoice against this Sales Order, the Item column snaps back to an even smaller width. No matter how many times we change the column width, it always goes back to a small width. I hope this is acceptable to post in the community I read of someone having their Proadvisor profile rejected because they used their work address on their profile, which was different from the address on their ID? My ID doesn't have my current address on it even though the DOL has it, so I was wondering if I will have a problem getting my profile approved because of this.
I upgraded my QB Desktop Pro 2018 to Pro Plus 2021 about 1 month ago. I don't open QB unless I have something to do. Within the last week (since I returned to work) whenever I have QB open, anything in Google Chrome crashes as soon as I navigate to a Google Chrome browser window. Currently I am using Windows Edge to type this message since I cannot do so in Chrome. When QB is shut down, no problems with Chrome. I don't know if this is a Chrome issue or a QB issue. Please help. Thank you.
Ever since my most recent QuickBooks Pro 2018 update, this application has been starting automatically upon my logging into my Win 10 computer on which it is installed. It it doing this despite the fact that I have disabled it in the task manager startup. Also starting is a splash screen that attempts to sell me on data services that I do not need. I have also disable that in the startup options to no avail.I have been a satisficed QuickBook users for more than 20 years and was even a QuickBooks consultant for a number of those years. I have to tell you though the fact that I can't disable this behavior is really upsetting to the point that I'm ready to junk this software and go public with my discontent.

What does the option in the build assembly window to "automatically create subassemblies"?
Guys is it just me or does QBO change little things here and there just to get the flow of things "off" every so often? I used to be able to click on a line and type in a SKU which generates a drop down. NOW I have to double click EACH line (or tab 7 times to get to the next line) which changes the rhythm of it all, and the whole thing just gets clunkier and clunkier. What are they DOING over at Intuit? Not great things, my stock is down a ton $$ too! yikes

My company has QB online. We wanted to use job costing with QB, but it did not meet our needs. But now we would like to consider QB again for job costing. I spoke to some accountants who said that QB job costing has dramatically changed. Does anyone here use job costing through QB online? If so, could you tell me your experience with the software?
I've been having the "Delivery Server Down" error all morning. I see it's also being reported by numerous other users too. Standard QB instructions guide for fixing issue isn't working. Issue is occurring with customer I've been invoicing the exact same way for 2 years. If anyone figures out a solution or has any information about an ETA for a fix, or anything else useful, please let me know.
I am the volunteer bookkeeper for a small non-profit. Out chart of accounts (less than 50 accounts) has become a bit messy. The account numbers are not in an order that works for our needs. We also would prefer 4 digits, rather than 5. We have developed a new chart in Excel that works well for our needs - management reporting and government grant reporting. We are also changing our FY. that appears to be an easy change in an existing company, resulting in a short year. my question is how do I handle these changes in QB Desktop? 1. Create a new company and build a COS from scratch? (We know that we have to look to the “old” accounts for history)2. Edit each of our existing accounts to change the account number as well as the account name? Then make all of the old accounts “inactive”.? If I add each BS account with a beginning balance, how does that impact reporting since there are now two accounts for the same purpose - esp

Our non-profit (church) has an odd situation and it unfortunately falls around the time of the required update on May 31, 2023. We currently use Desktop premier for Non-profits 2020 and what I believe is basic payroll because we submit the tax forms ourselves. Our dilemma is that June 14th will be our last day with our current name and EIN number. On that date we are disaffiliating from our current church's denomination and joining a new one which will mean our name changes and we get a new EIN number and a new bank account. We will have a payroll date May31st so that can still be under our current plan but then we are to have a payroll on June 14th which will still be under our old EIN. Trying to figure out how to make this transition the easiest. It seems as though from a cost standpoint, our best bet will be to ultimately change to QB online for accounting and payroll. My questions are: 1) Is there any way to still
