I need to print a copy for our 2023 budget but can't get it to print correctly. Any suggestions? It won't let me save as a pdf which would be easy to print.

I received an error message on Friday, Nov 4th that my Quickbooks file could not be opened because "The file isn't in the correct format." I contacted customer support over the phone. They verified that I was running the latest version and checked out my Mac OS as well. I was then told that there is an issue with accounts that have merchant services and that engineers were working on it. I gave my contact information and was told I would be contacted when it had been resolved. I have still not received any response and the problem still exists. Can anyone please provide further insight?Thank you.
I'm running QB Desktop Pro 2020. What is the workaround for not all invoices showing up on the check voucher because there's too many? Thanks :)
I have a problem. I'm co-owner, myself and my wife, of small LLC with no employees. We had a problem with our online bank. I ended up having to deposit our weekly income into our personal account. Now I need to account for the income and business expenses from my personal account into QB. My personal account is not synced with QB. I would like some guidance so I don't make more work for myself by not correctly claiming funds. Thank you in advance for the help.
Just as the title says. When I export the transactions log, it does not include the "bank description" with each transaction. What a worthless pile of garbage this software is.How do I get it to be useful and get this needed information.
I am trying to figure out how to deal with the following transaction.I receive a referral commission from a vendor per customer referred.I created a service commission item and then and invoice to the vendor with the item listed. The vendor paid us via automated deposit, and the transaction on the bank is showing a deposit for the commission amount that we've invoiced for and also a debit amount charged by the vendor to covertheir processing fees. How do I account for the debited vendor fees?
Is there a way to take an invoice, copy it and make it a Purchase order - or the other way around?
In the vendor center for a particular vendor, when showing all transactions, some transactions show an open balance that is not part of the actual vendor balance shown in the list of vendors. If I select to show open balance rather than all transactions, the transactions are not listed and the open balance does match the vendor list on the left. Some (not all) of the transactions are deposits for funds received from vendor. Deposits do not normally show up in the vendor transaction list, and I am not sure why these particular ones do. The transaction has been applied/offset by other transactions and it does not appear in pay bills, either as a bill or an available credit. I do not believe this is actually causing any problem in balances, but I do use the open balance column in the vendor center to monitor open vendor transactions, and it is confusing to see an open balance that is not truly open. I have verified data and my file reports no problems.
I've been using Quickbooks for over 10 years and using their Quickbooks Payroll Service. I have an account in my chart of accounts named "Payroll Service Customer Asset", the account seems to have been created by either Quickbooks or by Quickbooks Payroll Service. There are two entries in the account that were added by the Quickbooks Payroll Service, when running payroll. The entries and their amounts are not relevant, but I cannot find an explanation of why they were added. The account shows up in our balance sheet. I'm hoping someone can tell me what this account is, and when are entries added to it.

Hi, . I have spoken with 4 agents all of whom can not answer my question, 3 who told me a supervisor will call me and 1 who made an appointment with me to call me back after speaking with the back end office and never did. this has been going on for a week now, here is the issue. This is regarding QuickBooks Online plus I have a client opening a new business and wants to use the same chart of accounts the current chart of accounts is 279 with 121 going to usage. On the new company I asked to make the chart of accounts with the bare minimum amount of accounts. I downloaded to excel the chart of accounts and took out all unnecessary information from company number 1 I then went to the basic chart of accounts in company 2 and added the account numbers to the common names and made inactive what I was not using. I then went to my excel spreadsheet and removed all common accounts. When I upload into company number 2 it is t
I use the self employed version. I own a bridal beauty team and they do hair and makeup for weddings on my behalf. I have been categorizing their payouts as contract labor. (the are no employees, just freelancers) But also when a contractor comes to my salon to do work for me (ac/electrical, plumbing etc) I categorize that as contract labor as well. Is this correct? I feel like the freelancers payments should be categorized differently but I haven't found an option that seems right.

It's insane. I have closed 3 pop-ups in the last 10 minutes. We're paying customers and there should be some way to stop the advertising.

We recently closed out our P.O. Box right after paying our annual renewal fee ($76), so they refunded the renewal fee, but they also refunded the key deposit ($6) we made when we first signed up for the P.O. Box several years ago. The $76 annual fee was paid with our credit card, but the P.O. refunded us with a cashier's check for $82 which includes the $6 key deposit. I deposited the cashier's check in our regular bank account. Now I'm trying to figure out how to enter the refund/bank deposit transactions into Quickbooks Desktop so that everything balances out correctly. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
