How may I add a CLASS to multiple transactions?
To preface: I'm very new to QB, and I'm front of house for a small business. What I'm asking for help with is trying to make it faster and more efficient to go from the Lists->Inventory function to inserting it into the Invoice function on a desktop. Currently, my method is to be in Lists->Inventory, copy the long sku, X out of the Inventory screen, and paste into the Invoice. I looked at the screen for the inventory items, and there isn't a quick add section. Is there something I'm missing? If I'm trying to manage a flood of customers, this method is going to compound itself into mistakes.

Some items do not come in with barcodes and I have to create a barcode label and print it. How do I do this with Quickbooks Online Desktop?

When I first started with Quikbooks, I had it doing it, but then someone went in and messed with it and that is all she wrote!

Former desktop user and QB online will not allow me to make accounts no longer in use "inactive" any resolution
Upon signing into my QB 2018 desktop pro, I am asked to sign into my Intuit account. I have the choice to either select admin or non-admin (neither get me further in the process). Once I click admin and enter my credentials, the next screen is the 4 dots that rotate. They'll do that for hours and won't continue to the next step. Eventually, I close QB and select the option to delay signing in for a period of time. What happens if I never do because of this glitch?
This is a huge issue for me because I turn of my location so that it doesn't kill my battery when I'm at home. I turn it back on when I leave but the mileage tracking doesn't turn back on like it used to.
I'm not too familiar w/ QBO and honestly could do w/out! I searched HELP but answer I got was as if my vendor used QBO. Prior to me starting, there were overpmts to multiple vendors. I have a credit on stmt and debits on overpd invoices. When I 'pay bills', can I make add'l 'JE' at that time, debit to 5000acct and credit to inv w/ overpmt ? that will appear on check to show what I'm clearing? or no b/c I'm not writing an actual check? What is the proper way to retrieve our credit and clear out overpayments and apply amount to proper acct#
Using 2024 QB Desktop for Mac and I can not find Preferences under any of the menus! I included a screenshot of the fQuickBooks Menu which is where the online help states it is located, but it is not. I also looked under all the others: File, Edit, Lists, Company, etc..you get the point. Am I doing something wrong? New user to QB for Mac, I've always used QB for Windows.
We have added new parts to our inventory and when we print the physical inventory worksheet with BIN locations we have found that new inventory shows up on the last page not with the BIN location of items in the same bin. For example we have BIN location GC10 (grey cabinet, cabinet number 10). We added a new part that goes in this location but this part does not show up with all the other parts in GC10, but shows up and the last page after the letter Z location.Why does it not put this item with other items in GC10 on the worksheet?
I already run QB Online for my business but I want to add an additional QBO subscription under the same EIN. I do not use QBO for any of my payroll processing. So, would this be allowed and are there any other considerations?

Everyone keeps telling me to use a 3 party app to resolve this, but I'm unable to find an app to resolve this issue. This issue in my opinion is something that should be available. Along with getting INV-119759 fixed, as inactive customers showing as active is terrible. I was told it was going to be resolved within a week or so, it's been over 3 weeks, and no resolution. Pretty frustrating. I'm thinking I need to go back to Desktop!
how do you track time for a contractor using QuickBooks workforce?
My coworker entered an invoice in ProPlus '23, then processed the check received for that invoice and it translated to a negative on the P&L. I had to delete both and enter it as a "use register" entry to correct it. What could she have done incorrectly that it would come out so badly?
P&L Dashboard widget uses the default P&L report which now defaults to Accrual, and seemingly can't be changed to cash. So the dashboard widget is wrong. Can it be fixed? Cash method is selected in Settings for the company.
