Does anyone know how to stop the pop-up that directs you to QB Support web page every time you log in to a company file? I have already gone to Preferences and checked the box "turn off pop-up messages for products and services" with no luck. This issue started several months ago and I keep hoping Intuit will create a fix when it issues updates. Please help as this is extremely annoying and relay slows me down when I need to log in and out of several entities. Any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thank you, David K, [removed]

So I am trying to restore a backup from last month. I can see the backups listed in the history. I can highlight it but there isnt a Next button to begin the process of restoring from it. There is only a "Back" button. See screenshot
Currently my invoices all default to a Bill To field, a Ship To field and a Ship From field. I can manually change this by removing shipping info and changing the ship from to our address to have the Location of Sale changed but I would like to have QBO default to this setting on each invoice. We are a radio station that routinely uses Trade to generate promotional items awarded to Contest Winners. Ex: Customer provides the prize (earrings, tickets, etc) and we provide the customer with advertising. No cash changes hands between us and the customer. The prize is then awarded to the Contest Winner. Each prize has a dollar value. How do I enter these transactions in QB Enterprise so that a 1099 is generated to all Contest Winners who have reached the $600 threshold?Thank you!Jenny
Hello, I just entered in payments from some customers in "receive payments". Then I went to "record deposits" to finish out the deposit and its empty, non of the payments I just entered are there. Iv'e done the process numerous times before and this has never happened. Can anyone help me with this?
My quickbooks online account will not let me access the reconcile tab. It does the little green loading thing and then never opens and stays on a blank page. I have tried going incognito, clearing my cache and switching browsers with no luck... Anyone have any suggestions?
I have Desktop Pro Plus 2024. Sending invoices was working fine, Out of nowhere the email says "couldn't connect to email server". I am using the web mail settings. Double checked everything, completely updated, I have tried all the suggested solutions. Spent 45 mins on the phone with customer support with no success. Any ideas?
I have never in my life had so many issues or problems with anything. The entire quickbooks does nothing for my business. I am convinced my business would be more successful if I never was scammed into quickbooks. The platform is crap, the support is god awful, the company it self is evil.Is there any business owner out there that can say yeah quickbooks helps me and not just say it but maybe prove it?I have never seen anything so falsely advertised before in my life
I tried the QBO feature "Inventory Count" (from Products & Services More dropdown) just to test it with a couple of products. Now I want to delete it and backout what it did. I'm unable to find a way to delete the Inventory Count nor remove the inventory adjustments it made to the products.
So I'm debating on which software to use for my accounting. It looks like Quicken Home and Business would be perfect except I own a Mac, so I'd need to setup a virtual drive on it to run windows and quicken. The other drawback is that it wouldn't be on the cloud, so I''m also looking at using quickbooks online. This would be to track my personal accounts as well as my small business accounts. I've got a Real Estate Investing business that I operate from my home, and currently have no employees. Any input/feedback would be appreciated!

I need to edit some information I included as "prefilled" to each invoice. The text appears at the bottom of each invoice. I can't find where to delete or edit this text.
I see all the billable expenses in the client's transaction list. There I can only create a new invoice. I need to add them to an existing invoice, and the way I used to do it is gone. I have QBO - not plus or premier.
I am trying to setup bill approval workflow. I have enterprise desktop platinum 2024 installed on my computer. I do not have the option to setup the approval workflow under the company menu. How can I access this?
After installing the latest update of Quickbooks Pro Plus 2024, the spellcheck for invoices and other documents stops at every word including "for" and "and." It seems like the dictionary with all additional saved words I saved previously has disappeared. I don't want to have to add every word in the English language to the dictionary in order to pass spellcheck. Any ideas?
Using Quickbooks Desktop on a PC. When in the Customer Center or Vendor Center, how do I change the default from "active" customers/vendors to "all" customers/vendors? Every time I go to those pages, it defaults on "active". I would like it to default on "all". Thanks for any help!
I had setup go daddy web mail in preferences working. Go Daddy switched to office 365 and I have tried to update the email settings to outlook email provider with enhanced security or manually with outlook.office365.com / port 587 with SSL; however it does not authenticate the password in the new Microsoft 365 sign in web browser. It fails by saying "your browser is a bit unusual... Try disabling javascript, or using a different web browser." However, this web browser was popped up by Quickbooks and not the windows web browser. This is affecting my ability to send emails to customers and have them pay online.
Hello,I'm running QB Desktop Ent, latest version. The service account on the server used is QBDataServiceUser34.We have 6 licenses. I'm seeing the QB Admin account show in the DB manager on the server for no reason and it's taking up a license. The Admin account is not logged in. The only way to clear it is to have everyone get out and restart the service. But even after that I will eventfully see the Admin account show back up. -Everyone's Desktop app is up to date-Server is up to date-I disabled the message service within QBNot sure what is causing this.Any thoughts are appreciatedThanksBob
i click prepare 1099's, then i confirm my info. then i click next on select accounts and it starts to load but while the thinking bar is going the whole screen in quickbooks goes blank white and nothing happens. every time every browser. maybe it will automatically work after the 15th so no one can get the early bird discount.
This is a weird issue I am having and I think I need technical support but do not know where to go to ask. I am trying to categorize transactions using the split feature. I am able to complete all fields except enter a numerical value in the "Amount" Field and I cannot type an entry into the "description" field. I can enter numbers in other parts of QB, such as issuing a check. I screen shared with my colleague and I am doing the same steps she is but I cannot type a number or even copy and paste a number into the field to allocate the correct transaction amount. The field is not greyed out. And I see a blinking cursor in the field showing the field is open and active. I have tried using different browsers; Chrome, Edge, Safari. I have restarted my computer. I have checked number lock. I have used a laptop keyboard and a 10 key keypad. I even tried logging in using my husbands computer. I also saw a post recommending trying again in "incognito mode". No luck. Do you know if t
I have one customer that has 45 day payment terms and the due date in QB is the same date as the invoice date. This makes is a little difficult to assess finance charges if necessary. I have attached a screenshot. This is the only customer I have that has 45 day payment terms. All other customers that have 30 or 60, the due date is correct. Any idea what could be the fix here? I recently took over the job as treasurer for a small club and they've been doing everything via an tedious excel spreadsheet. We're 3 months into the fiscal year. Rather than using this excel spreadsheet for the next 9 months, I'd like to use QB. I was able to create a chart of accounts from the last income statement and general ledger. I can enter beginning balances (effective end of period 3) into some of my accounts, but cannot get a 'balance brought forward' entry into the income or the expense lines.Can someone provide me guidance on how to do this? I'd like to avoid re-entering 3 months of journal entries if at all possible, and just roll all the balances from the manual excel spreadsheet forward into QB and then start period 4's entries if at all possible.
When I email an estimate it emails with "DUE" and the date, it should say "Expires on" and the date I have chosen. My customers are getting very confused, how do I fix this?
