We were testing out how to set up the purchase order system and incorrectly received in a open purchase order. After realizing our mistake we attempted to reverse this action and have been struggling to do so. Any help would be appreciated.
The most recent updates to QuickBooks sem to have created a bug. When I go to change ort update the Class field, it will wipe out my shipping line on Sales Orders. The way that it works now, a customer places an order on my website, the order downloads via a connector and creates a Sales Order in QuickBooks. Once the orders are downloaded, we go in and update the Class. When we do that, it zeroes out the amount field in the shipping line. Does anyone know how I can get it to stop doing that?
I'm just getting starting today with QB online and I imported the wrong date range from my connected account. It won't let me delete multiple transactions at once and I have just gotten it pretty screwed up in general. And I have gotten beyond frustrated with trying to fix it. How do I delete everything (transactions, rules, etc) and start over fresh?
Hi there, My coworkers are trying to sign into QuickBooks Online, but when they enter their usual login, i.e. password and 2FA, they are looped back to the original sign-in prompt as if they never even logged into QBO in the first place, and asks them again for their credentials. This has happened twice thus far and has impacted all users of the account at once, including my administrative account. It resolved itself after a few hours on the first instance, but has happened again recently. I have guided them through the following steps (which I have also tried for myself, to no avail) 1. Clearing history, cache, and cookies2. Using Incognito/Private Mode3. Using a different browser4. Restarting the computer5. Using the QBO Desktop client6. Using different computers Any help is appreciated.

We are a NC registered business. In 2024 I have one QBO 1099 in which the individual lives in Michigan. Company has no presence in Michigan, nothing was withheld from the individual regarding any taxes. This is just informational to the State. I dont want to register our business in Michigan. It's only a bit over $2k. Can I not use the Guest Services Portal to upload? What are my options? I have the exact same issue with Rhode Island..These states dont participate in the combined IRS filing program.
I use Quickbooks to organize my inventory. I recently changed up the BIN locations and moved everything around. I don't want to delete all of my old BIN locations because they are now in use by new products that were moved. The issue is each product now is full of previous BIN locations from previous inventory transfers. I want to hide or delete all previous bin locations that are not currently a sales or purchase default.

I'm looking to compile a report of both open sales orders and open purchase orders. I typically just do two separate reports, but I was wondering if there is a way to make a report that pulls from both (and maybe even link a PO to an SO, if there is a link.) Does anyone know of any way to possibly do this without formatting in Excel for hours?

I am getting an error when trying to e-file 1099s. this is the message that comes up. "There was an issue with e-filing your 1099s. Try re-filing. If your account was charged, you won’t be charged again when you re-file. We apologize for the inconvenience." I have been charged the 3 times I have tried.
I am trying to get a validation code as I had to load my Pro 2013 on a new laptop. Have tried phoning all numbers found on the web with no luck.
Is anyone else having trouble with virtually every aspect of QuickBooks online. I am constantly having trouble logging in. Getting a "Having trouble connecting" for hours. Making my life an absolute nightmare! And it keeps deleting my other users. My office help cant get logged in. Now I cant even get them reinvited because it keeps giving me error message that they already have an account, but yet it toke away most of there access making the job impossible for them to do!!!! This is getting ridiculous
Hi All, I am getting tired of having to update both Edge and/or Web View due to Payment Card Industry requirements. My customer does not use either of them. So I am about to just remove them. (No they are definitely NOT required to run Windows. I remove them all the time) Does the current Quickbooks Desktop require either Edge and/or Web View? Many thanks,-T
I am having trouble converting a QBB file to QBW. It opens the QBB file and then when it asks me where I want to restore the file the dialog at the bottom does not include the name of the file. It only shows up as *.QBW. When I add the name I want for the file, nothing happens.
I bill my customers on a quarterly basis through memorized transactions. The transactions apply the same amount to everyone in the same group. We are having a rate increase and I would like to know if there is a way to enter the new rate without having to enter each bill individually to each customer. There are over 200 customers. I get it. Security is important, but who decided....When user is logged out every 3 hours due to inactivity, logging back in to a tab takes that user back to the home screen instead of reopening where the tab last was.....Why does every other open tab still needs refreshed - seems that logging in should refresh all automatically.And when another open tab is refreshed after inactivity, why does it also reverts back to the home screen?Don't most users have 4-5 tabs open minimum during sessions? Who thunk forcing every one of us to remember and reopen all tabs to get back to where we were was a good idea?.Lastly, can that person be forced to use QBO desktop app? I figure that is when this obvious shortfall will be fixed? And why did this 3 hour signout start happening only a week ago - hasn't been a problem all year long.
When I view a check ( or bill pay check) I do not see ON THE CHECK (not the register) that it was cleared.In other versions of QB I see a check mark (ON THE CHECK not the register) and some with the date it was reconciled.How do I change this preference?
I am having an issue with spreadsheet sync and being able to sort a column a-z when editing records for the chart of accounts. 1. I am signed in to the spread sheet with my QBO account and have synced the data.2. I am able to change the information in the cells and sync it back to QBO. This is for editing chart of accounts. What I am needing to do is sort the chart of accounts by account number as I have several that need to be made into sub accounts and some modifications to account type. When I click the little gray triangle to bring up the dropbox and tell it to sort A-->Z I get a message stating "The cell or chart you're trying to change is on a protected sheet. To make a change, unprotect the sheet. You might be requested to enter a password." I have followed instructions on other forums by going to Review--> Unprotect sheet and it has a password box pop up. However, my QBO password will not unlock the sheet. Is there a way to record a "sales" person involved in the generation of the invoice? We have some invoices that are sold as "sponsorships" and we pay a commission on those sales, so it would be nice to have a way to have the system track who the sales person was so we could sort a report by a sales field and save a little time. I've looked on the invoice screen and I don't see any sales field, and I haven't found anything in preferences.

I have the solopreneur checking for my business and there have been charges made that were refunded or canceled and have been sitting in pending for over 2 months. There’s no way to dispute it and the original sellers have all canceled the charges on their end. I’m getting very frustrated and would like my money. Please help!!
I am at my wits end with Quickbooks and their "support." I signed up for Live Bookkeeping and was told this process would be easy.I had a bookkeeper assigned to my account but never got a chance to have that initial call to set everything up. Ive tried to schedule a call but I keep getting an error. Ive tried on multiple computers and on different browsers to no avail. Even had a support member "Bob" try to trouble shoot through screen sharing using "smart look" and he couldnt help. Ive spoken to over 6 different "support" agents all saying they are "escalating" and to expect a call and email. I have not received not one call or email. To make matters worse, "Teresa H," the bookkeeper that was assigned to my account has not responded to ANY of the messages I've sent her. I am so incredibly frustrated and disappointed with Quickbooks and their inability to provide the basic service they promised & I paid for. At this point, Ive even asked to cancel my live account but
