In QBO there are following features: Sales ReceiptsSales RefundsInvoicesCredit NotesVendor Bills Vendor CreditsCash Purchase - via Expenses or Cheques What I see missing is the Cash Purchase refunds which is the opposite of Cash Purchase. May be QBO is not designed to handle Cash Purchase Returns.

HiOur CIS contractor has mistakenly paid us this month without deducting the 20% cis Labour tax. They have said they will deduct it next month. How do I enter this gross amount bearing in mind that the CIS tax suffered is automatically deducted when payment is received and also appears on the HMRC Tax suffered report. Is there a way of putting off the 20% tax amount to next month when it’s paid. Thank youKaz
Hi QuickBooks team, we really need your attention on this critical security feature that remains unimplemented. I'm sharing this as constructive criticism. In this community we all want to see Quickbooks continue to thrive and grow, hence why I think it's important to draw attention to this issue. In 2024, it's becoming increasingly concerning that QuickBooks Online still doesn't allow us to enforce multi-factor authentication (MFA) for all company users. This is a major security risk, especially with the sensitive financial data we handle. Previous posts requesting this feature date back to at least 2020 and the cybersecurity landscape has moved on significantly since then. Not being able to enforce MFA makes it difficult to comply with basic security standards like UK Cyber Essentials. The lack of this feature is putting our businesses at risk. Can we please request an official update at least confirming where this feature is on the product roadmap? We really need visibil
Hello, I accidentally underpaid the VAT amount of £5100 by £100. So to correct I made another payment of £100.How do I record/match the two payments in QuickBooks against the single VAT due of £5100 ?
I need help understanding my company overview for the last financial year to March '24 In the cost of sales it lists CIS for 30%, 20% and 0% which is totals prior to deduction of CIS. So after deducting those totals (gross) from income total, that is my "profit" before other deductions. Now looking at Expenses section of report it has CIS as an expense, so taken from "profit". But this is included in the gross of the cis payments in cost of sales. So is it deducting CIS twice from my report, once in cost of sales, then again in expenses? if so how has it done this and how do I rectify it? Thanks for any help
I can not believe that dealing with a refund requires a much more expensive package. This function should be open to all
