Is it possible to have multiple lines per product/service as shown in the picture of the US version? this is a seriously basic feature that I can’t seem to make work. All I get when I press enter/return is a new product/service which frankly is rubbish.
I'd like to use my itemised estimates as a job sheet for my team. Can I print an estimate without showing prices?
Hi, I'm a UK seller and use QuickBooks Self-Employed, I'm not VAT Registered. I'm going through my accounts and noticed that Etsy charges me VAT and QB Self Employed imports the transactions and automatically categorizes them as below. DateTransactionAmountTypeCategory01/08/2024VAT: VAT sellers service fee-£0.16BusinessOther business expenses Do I leave it in this category, or change it to "VAT Paid" even though I haven't paid the VAT myself? Or maybe another category such as "Other financial charges"? VAT PaidVAT payments you make.Other financial chargesAlternative or miscellaneous finance charges.Other business expensesMiscellaneous business expenses like payments for professional journals or other running costs. Also, I believe "Sales tax: Sales tax fee", "Transaction: Payment processing fee", "Transaction: Transaction fee", and "Other fees: Fee" would be categorized as Other financial chargers or maybe Bank Charges? I'm a little confused about it,
I only have import vendors or add vendor.
Today we have been trying to send purchase orders to suppliers (exactly the same as we have for two years) and they are not receiving them. When you look at the audit log they all have "Indirect edit by System" is this happening to anyone else? No settings have been changed.

It makes it really hard as you then have to remember to click billable/markup through QB online otherwise they don't appear on client invoice!
Why has Quickbooks changed the title of the pdf attachments for remittance advices from Remittance_Advice... to BILL_CHECK...?Makes NO SENSE to a UK audience.
Loses connection after a few weeks. Still not connected
Prior to disconnection QBO showed the last bank account update as being 30 July.
Could somebody help me please and help me with simple advice amongst the huge amount of jargon out there!I am migrating to a new Quickbooks online account to separate my sole trader and now new LTD company data.I need to import my recent LTD company invoice history and expenses history (with our without receipt attachments) for an exact period since going LTD. I have exported the data from my old Quickbooks account but it isn't instantly obvious how to import my past invoice and expense history into my new Quickbooks account. Can anyone help and give me a jargon free instruction how to do it?!
I am told by QB i have to log into HMRC and find out the difference between the amount showed as owed on HMRC system with the QB account and make a manual journal entry to contra the difference. This was always done automatically in the old payroll system, but payroll core appears not to work
Can not send an invoice
I have applied multiple petty cash buys as ‘cash on hand’, which shows the cash on hand account as a negative, I then applied a deposit as ‘cash on hand’ but this hasn’t credited the cash on hand account and is still showing the cash on hand account as being negative when I thought the deposit would then take the account into a positive. What am I doing wrong?
As I've previously ask for we still don't have a change log of any form of communication regarding new features. This morning we now have a new feature called, Bookmarks, which is under the, erm Bookmarks menu list... Crack marketing team at Intuit have outdone themselves this time. Anyway. It seem very odd and doesn't seem to be working as intended. I managed to get two customer shortcut to two reports I visit several time per day, which, does save time. However, it's all a bit odd. You can't add more than two, or is this the max allowed? Then, I removed one bookmark and now can't add any additional one as it just defaults to the one already in place. @JackSI'll tag you in this but I'll expect the bots to be answering with some unrelated suggestion about deleting browser cache....
Hi, hope someone can help me! I'm fairly new to QB, used to use Kashflow. On the kashflow system I would raise a purchase BILL, the bill number would be auto-populated, I'd hand write the BILL number on the actual hardcopy purchase invoice and add it to my file. If I wanted to find a particular bill at a later date I could just search the supplier, find the bill number and then go to my file and find the corresponding bill by the sequential bill number system. With QB's I don't see how to add an auto-populated bill number. The only thing I can do is add one myself, then add the same number to the hardcopy bill. The next time I come to add another bill I have to first check back to see what the last bill number was so I get the sequencing correct. If not I would never be able to find the hardcopy in the file. What does everyone else do???? Please help, thanks
Totally new to QB on-line. I'm self employed (sole trader), and I've just made payments to HMRC. How do I go about logging this in QB. Do I set up HMRC as a supplier and show as an expense, if so under what category? Can someone please advise for me. TIA
In Kashflow I left invoices unpaid to serve as a production reminder that we had to have there product made by that date and when it was ready I would then add pay, the unpaid invoice reminders set helped me track orders so. How can I apply payment without effecting balances on nominal codes/bank accounts on chart of accounts Please
How can I speak to a human please?
