My QuickBooks defaults to 16h instead of 8h when an employee puts in a time off request. How can i change this to default to 8h?
Is anyone else having a problem logging on? I receive the message "There's and issue on our end. We're on it"
Dear Quickbooks Time Support. I cannot login to my account.And I'm the Master Admin. When trying to login, i just get an error message saying: "We can't find anyone with (email)"I'm still logged in on the IOS app on my iPhone, where I can see all my account info, and everything looks fine. I've tried all, i think.Also tried to click "I forgot my user ID or password" > "Try something else"But think I can't get any further, since your site dont accept a danish social security number. So a little help would be appreciated, asap!
I noticed today that for the last few weeks, the employee wages are not going into the project profitability reports. Has anyone else had this happen?
Hello, Our business employs a lot of staff who work overnight shifts; however, because Tsheets automatically clocks everyone out and back in at midnight, our shift duration overtime rules (any any other potential overtime rules) are not applying to overnight shifts longer than 8 hours. We currently then have to pore over every single overnight shift and calculate overtime manually; is there an option that exists to prevent kiosks from ending and restarting shifts at midnight? This is making overtime compliance incredibly difficult for our company.
I want the custom fields to be in a specific order. When I am on my desk top, all the fields show up in the correct order. However, when I clock in on the app, they are all out of order.
Several projects and their details were entered in the schedule on the Workforce App where everyone could see them. Most of the entries were going to be on the list for a couple of months. A couple of weeks into the schedule everything disappeared. There were new clients and many important regular client follow ups in the schedule. All of the information was lost; our entire schedule and the details of each project. Is there a time limit to what is in the schedule? Who has authority to delete anything on the schedule? Did a program update possibly delete the information? Is there a way to retrieve the lost schedule? Please advise.... if anyone has had the same problems how did you remedy the situation? Is the scheduling option not safe to rely on or did I do something wrong?
Hello, Our facility has 2 android tablets running Quickbooks Kiosk. As of this morning June 10th, both have started to only showing a white screen when clicking on the app. I have restarted the tablets and uninstall and reinstall the app. I am assuming this is something on Quickbooks end. Anyone else having this same issue?
Is it possible to schedule (or automate) a project/timesheet report on a weekly/regular basis?to be delivered to my account (or my associated email address)with regular project filters (i.e. projects I'm assigned to)running range (i.e. project start date to the date of the report running?) I have an employee that’s only in quickbooks one time, but there are five of them showing up in tsheets and it won’t let me get rid of any or send an invite to any
certain employees notice they are being punched out without physically clocking out on the app during the work day. Is there a known bug that is causing this?
We use Quickbooks to track time on projects. Once a project is complete, is there a way to 'lock' a project in quickbooks so folks cannot enter time anymore?We want to keep the project in the system for historical records, so I don't want to 'delete', but that is the only option I've seen so far.Any help is greatly appreciated.

We have too many employees that fail to show up and have used all their vacation and they don't care!I want to make them aware of just how many hours/days they skipped work when they were scheduled to be here!I would like to keep track of the time an employee's misses that he should have been here. I want to call this unpaid time AWOL. If an employee fails to show 8 hrs out of his scheduled 40 hours I want his digital stub on Workforce to show that he is minus 8 hrs AWOL. Some of our guys are AWOL 30 or 40 hours a month, so at th end of the year they could show minus 400 hours.... This would mean that they failed to show up for that many hours. Also, I would like the employees to be able to tell us on the app that they are requesting paid time off that is not approved. That is why I want to call this AWOL. We do use T-sheets/Thanks
Quickbooks made an update last month and destroyed the Quickbooks Time Project tracking function. We used to be able to enter a project and the time activity would automatically be tracked. We used this for invoicing labor on a project. Now it's broken. WHY????????
So i had a employee that never showed so no paycheck history. Quickbooks Online allowed me to delete the employee from payroll. The issue is the employee continues to show up on Quickbooks Time as a team member. I want them removed.There is not option to archive them either.Any help would be great.
I’m new to Quickbooks online and QuickBooks Time. I’m having an issue where despite having ‘unpaid time off’ assigned to employees within payroll, they cannot choose that option for time off requests. When I go to Time off settings all codes but Holiday and Vacation are greyed out and I cannot edit them. Anyone have a solution that I’m missing?
Can someone please help with a question regarding the accounting behind the QB Time sync to QB Desktop? Our employees today clock into a customer, then a service item. I want to maintain the way they are clocking in as we want that data available for analysis. However, my problem comes in with the accounting side of this. I am trying to change our accounting standards to absorb at a standard labor and OH rate and right now, what comes through on the customer side is the actual cost of the employees payroll/taxes, etc. There are two options to fix this, but I don't know how to make either of them happen. 1) Preferred option: When syncing to QB Desktop, time and payroll cost does not go to the customer, only to the assigned class. Then we would do a month-end entry to do the absorption of labor overall to WIP. Cost would go to the customer when we release from WIP to CGS. 2) Absorb labor to the customer through the sync at th

QuickBooks desktop version used by the company is owned by Bookkeeping company that we hired previously thus ending 2023 they provided us with QBW data file only, there were transactions need to be corrected affecting our 2024 reporting, what will be our options without subscribing to QB Desktop version? My field techs have to start and stop time during their drive to and from job locations. To do this, they have to pull off the freeway each time. Are there voice prompts for QBT whether it be through Siri, or a 3rd party voice reading application?
If you are a group manager of a group/crew, is it possible to clock your crew in from the schedule on the workforce app? I know in the app you can go underneath More and then hit crew and clock your crew in, but then the group manager has to manually put in all the required fields like the job/customer. I was just wondering if this is possible so the group manager could clock their crew in easier without having to worry about filling out all the required fields.
I am using Quickbooks Online, have been on it for just under a year. I typically have two Quickbooks Windows open, one is the timesheet for myself to track time, and the other window is for everything else. My process is, I open up Quickbooks, go to the time sheet page, and log my time for the first activity of the day, and hit save. If I don't hit save, and the computer crashes, Quickbooks decides to log me out, etc., the time is lost, and I have to reconstruct my day from my feeble memory. The screen would stay on my timesheet, and I just add my next activity later in the day, and hit save. Starting yesterday, when I hit save, instead of just saving, it does a save and close. So now I have to open my timesheet back up. Quickbooks is not real smart. It does not default to the today's date. It finds the first day of the week with no time logged and defaults to that. So last week, it would default to Tuesday, July 4, because that was a holiday that I did not work. Normally, li

I the QB person should not only give their name but a badge or employee number, this way we can go to a complaint department and let them know what happened.
Hello,I need to change an employee's time card after payroll has processed. We charge clients and 4 hours needs to be changed from one client to another. No change in pay in amount of time. I simply need to switch the client numbers. Is that possible and how do I do it?
