How do I fix 'bank feeds error: Non-printable letters in Quickbooks names".Not been a problem with Amex for years. Started 2 months ago.Amex says Quickbooks issue. Quickbooks says Amex.Hours on phone now for days.
I have a new client who has been tracking construction projects by class as opposed to customer/sub or project. Do you see any issue with leaving this in place (they have over 50 projects open currently and many hundreds historically)? And is there some way to "close" a class so that it no longer appears in reports? Using a tag or making it inactive maybe? Thank you!

Hi There How can I bring forward Retained Earnings from previous year when migrating to Quick books online.(in our case a loss).I entered an amount under RE as an opening balance. It went on transforming into a journal, Debiting the Retained Earning (equity account) and crediting the profit bought forward account under long term liabilities. This is looking wrong on the balance sheet as it should only be one entry under equity. It can show as a negative Equity if is a loss. Tried to re-enter a balance, but this option under RE in chart of account is not longer available when trying to edit the RE account? I do not want a journal, just an opening balance, why the double entry kicks in? Thank you for your assistance , please email back [email address removed]
The shareholders wired payment directly to a vendor to pay invoices. How do i record this loan on QB online and then use it to record payment to the invoices?
I was able to do this in previous desktop versions of Quickbooks. Since migrating to Quickbooks Online I can't seem to make it work.
As a company, we work with a Title company for title deed registration. Title invoices us for expenses made. The invoice amount consists of expenses such as title deed registration, filing fee and trip fee if needed.How should we, as a company, record this payment? Should I categorize payment to the title as a "professional service fee" or should we categorize payment in details as title deed registration fee, filing fee and trip fee? Best.

Recurring invoice option does not show up under the new invoicing interface.
Up until about a week ago, in the bottom left quadrant of the individual Invoice screen, you used to be able to see the full history of when/how many times an invoice had been sent, and also how many times it had been viewed by the customer. All of that data has simply disappeared. Please tell me it's coming back, or that there is a VERY easy other place to find it? I can see some history on the "Invoices" screen (where you can see ALL invoices and click on an individual one to see the quick summary), but it also seems that some of the send/view history has disappeared for some of our invoices (ie invoices that I know have been sent out multiple times now only show the most recent send date). We NEED this info for tracking collections. Please help!
