Need help to log in to my Online QB
The description for the recent app update is vague and doesn't give details. I can't not figure out where the Receipt Snap option went and am really hoping someone knows more than I can find.
I already sent them invoices but another of them are saying not sent after I sent the reminder invoice.

I thought it happened when I had a mobile number on the customer information but I just checked a client and it happened and it wasn't listed as a mobile number even! Regardless I do not need to see this option but can't find a way to remove it.
I am our PTA treasurer. We sell pre-made school supply bags to our students as a fundraiser. The window to order these supply bags, and therefore revenue received, happens in one fiscal year. The majority of the supplies are paid for & the product delivered to the student in the next fiscal year. In the past we've just dealt with our revenue/budget looking weird because the revenue was booked in the fiscal year received and the payments made in next fiscal year. No adjusting entries were ever made. We are on a cash basis and operate a P&L Budget sheet. I would love to fix this issue but not exactly sure what the best way to do it would be. Should I book the monies received for the supply bags in previous fiscal year to a BS liability account as designated funds for the supply bags? Then on 7/1 (new fiscal year) make a JE to move these funds from the BS liab account to the IS revenue account?If this would be the proper way to do it
1. Yes I hate QBO.2. QB Tech support is about as useful as oxygen in a coffin. That said, one of our companies biggest struggles is making sure product gets invoiced. Many hands in the pot, lots of moving parts, etc... Open to other suggestions but what I'd at least like to do, I think, is have a report that shows what we've ordered in a given time period, what was sold, and what total should still be in stock. Dream world would be to do this by class. Tried to create a custom report but because the requirements person for QBs with the pocket protector, visor, and HP calculator doesn't talk to the sales people or the users QB seems stuck in we're only credits and debits and never the twain shall meet in anything outside a balance sheet. If I select anything sales related it greys out the expense. Any suggestions?
We allocate grant funding to identified clients to help pay a percentage of their invoice for services. For example the money comes from GRANT A but this money is then allocated to pay 20% of client 1, 40% of client 2 and 100% of client 3 invoice for services based on financial need. At the end of the year not all the grant funding has been allocated and then must carry over to the next fiscal year. What is the best way to account for this in QBO? Allowing us to get a clear picture of the amount of money in the grant remaining and to whom it has been allocated.
Hi all, I am using quick books online version and I know I apparently cannot use scan manager with this version only on desktop version. but I would please like to know how I go about scanning invoices for vendor purchases with this version. I do not want to use my mobile as I have someone doing it for me. Is there a way to scan invoices to transactions without having to click on an already scanned pdf on my pc. The only way it seems to work now is that I have to first scan an invoice, then save it with a specific name to a folder, then open quick books and attached that invoice to the transaction. this is very laborious. Any help would be appreciated.
I have a strange situation when building an hours detail report for one specific job. I build the report starting with the "Time by job detail", changed the filters to select a specific job, saved the report. When I click on that specific memorized report, the filters have been removed and the report runs data for all jobs! This does not happen with any other job that I created reports for. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening and what I can do differently? Thank you
I have several custom report groups setup so that I can send multiple reports to the same group of people, regularly each month on the same day. This has been setup this way for several years and each year about this time, I need to edit the group to modify the recipients of the reports.I am able to edit the schedule and email recipients for individual reports but when I click edit on a custom report group, the system just stalls and never responds. I have confirmed this to be an issue within multiple browsers (Safari, Chrome and Brave) and also in the Mac app. I have both an accountant account and a user account and the behavior is the same. I reported this to Intuit support several days ago and was told there was an open case for this and I would be notified with updates. I have never received any such updates so I wanted to post here to see if others have experienced this and if there is a workaround. I really need to modify the recipients for these &nb
