There is no option for me to choose to make the journal an adjusting journal entry and the adjusted trial balance is not showing up in my reports menu.
If not, any suggestions how to handle this with record keeping of the different shipping cost?

Hi, Question for when someone other than partners investing in the company. Here is the situation: My mom puts money($25K) in my trucking business so I can buy a truck and whatever that truck makes, I give profit to my mom. How do I put these transactions in the book? Business is owner of the truck and eventually once the truck is retired and sold, money received when sold would go back to my mom. Thanks in advance
I have one wage code not calculating the overtime premium, can anyone guide me why this is happening. All other wage codes calculating correctly for difference worker comp codes.
As far as I can tell, the invoice is not actually sent. But this really messes up our billing when we review the customer screen. Help.

We run a cash based photography business, and I am struggling with how to correctly record our customer deposits. Customers pay $200 to book a date that will apply to the balance of their invoice - sometimes these can be in separate years. How do these get recorded so that the sales tax is recorded correctly and their invoices are accurate?
At the help topic: Balance Sheet Report out of balance - Recurring, there is a link within the text shown as Resolve a Balance Sheet out of balance in cash basis. I have used QuickBooks for billing for years and every once in a while this happens. I have logged out and back in a couple of times and the invoices are still not there.
I need a report that shows paid invoices, including payment methods, for all customers. I need to know how each invoice was paid and when. Can anyone help?
I am trying to prevent having someone enter an invoice or expense in a prior month.
Each customer record has payment terms, but when I create an invoice, the terms don't automatically populate, this was not a problem until recently when we upgraded to enterprise solutions.
