Today the QuickBooks application on iPhone 15 iOS 17.2.1 crashes when trying to download or open an attachment. I’ve tried with my phone and spouses. Responds the same. Offloaded the app, restarted phone, redownloaded. And the same … crashes app and goes to apples Home Screen. No warning just blinks off. I’m in the vendor section of Quickbooks app and tap the paperclip and crashes. Help?
How do I pull out vendor master report reflecting TAX ID? Currently the tax ID field is coming into some long codes instead of reflecting the actual tax ID?
I want to update the text in the email of Payment Received. It is not correct to me. FromToPaid DatePayment DateInvoice TotalPayment AmountOutstanding BalanceBalance Due Where can I do that? Thanks.
I'm using the QuickBook Desktop Pro 2020. Everthing was fine at the beginning, but there is just a Summary Amount showing up in the Account QuickReport, not details. Even I double click this summary amount, same page coming out, not details. Thank you!!
I have multiple users at my company. When generating a sales report by customer detail or summary, the results are not matching up for all users. Users with Full Access permissions are getting a different number than the user that has Inventory, purchasing and sales roles assigned. One user in particular is not show the deductions of customer allowances and discounts on the total. Is this a permission setting for this user that I need to change.
Maybe I'm missing something but shouldn't the Cash Flow Hub look at the bank register instead of the Bank Feed bank balance? I wrote $100K in checks on Tuesday, and until I update the bank balance in a couple of days in Bank Feeds, CFH doesn't recognize that $100K is gone. It does however, recognize that those bills are PAID. Therefore, CFH thinks I have $100K more to work with. Stupid.
Hi, So with webgility i can import orders from shopify and shipstation (shipping cost) as a invoice for sales order and Bill for shipping expense. When I want to pull a detail report on net customer sales (Sales-COGS), I'm not able to pull the shipping expense associated with the order. One way I can do that is record the total shipping expense as a line item and negate that with a Free Shipping item? Would that give me a accurate report? Another question is that shipstation only gives me a close estimate reporting. I wait for the FedEx bill to record any other expenses outside customer order, but relevant to business such as samples shipping expense and etc. While I can sum up the order for shipping expense and adjust the amount in invoice, how do I also create a bill that wont duplicate the shopify expense, but will catch the other shipping expense I manually enter it?

Hello, We have QuickBooks Online (QBO) connected with Excel via the Spreadsheet Sync feature and occasionally encounter following error while running reports: We have almost 9 to 10 different tabs running QBO Sync with different QBO reports. The error does not specify where or what to check, making it difficult to troubleshoot. Additionally, this error does not occur consistently—sometimes the reports run without any problems, while at other times, the error appears. We are unsure on what is triggering this behavior. Can anyone help?
I use QBO Plus but I couldn't continue posting my data because this error message kept coming up: An amount is either too large (> 99,999,999,999) or too small (< -99,999,999,999), or saving this transaction would result in an account balance that is too large (> 99,999,999,999) or too small (< -99,999,999,999). What is the way out? Thanks
I do not want to link my bank and credit card accounts online with QB. How do I get around this?
Hi, So I've matched some bank feeds with transaction, but had to change something so i deleted the payment. How come I don't see the transaction in unrecognized again? I dont want to redelete the whole bank... or can i?
When I run the Open Purchase Orders by Item report, I see a large amount of POs with due dates BEFORE the date the PO was created, some of which are YEARS prior. When I look at the target POs, these assigned Due Dates are nowhere to be seen. I do not suspect the Purchaser is entering these dates incorrectly. Instead, these appear to be generated by the system.I've looked over all the affected POs and they are from various Vendors and Items, along with various differences in the date difference. How can I find this gremlin in the system?
Data reference in your QuickBooks budget, navigate to your budget settings, select the option to "Compare reference data," then choose "Custom Report" from the available data sources, and select the specific custom report you want to use as a reference point for your budget comparison; essentially, you're telling QuickBooks to pull data directly from your custom report when comparing against your budgeted amounts.I don't have the option to add a custom report? How do I add a custom report to my reference data options in budgets.
I made a typo in the amount paid to a contractor., How do I correct it?
We have been trying to run a audit trail for dates 01/10/2025 through 01/13/2025. When the report does load and not crash, it will not show certain sales orders on the list. The attached sales order audit trail does show sales order 9708 as having adjustments between the above dates, but does not appear on the 01/10/2025-01/13/2025 audit trail report. Please advise on a proper procedure to assure that all my sales orders that were changed the on a specific date range requested.
We have two businesses and one household. I want all of them on quikbooks
If I select "meet threshold", no one shows up. If I select "below threshold", I see the ones I'm looking for, ie, the ones above $600. So it looks like the threshold is set wrong somewhere.
I work for a large company with a team of four accountants. Every month, we record JE accruals, some of which do not reverse for a couple of months. Recently, we have been unable to reverse JEs without entering a password, even if the reversal relates to an open period. I have contacted QBO support through chat and email, but I have not found a solution yet. I have admin privileges on the account, so I can enter the password and reverse the JEs. However, this process will not be feasible due to the number of JE reversals we perform monthly. I have been using QBO with this company for over four years, and our process hasn't changed. It seems like a glitch with QBO. Has anyone else run into this situation or have any suggestions?
just need to make a new one and delete old one
I had to correct a whole bunch of mis-directed paychecks going into the wrong account by transferring the funds appropriately. QuickBooks online posted them to the correct account but they got taken out and deposited into the wrong accounts (there are no outside employees involved in the error as this is a small family business). Now I am trying to figure out how to appropriately categorize them without it appearing as an expense or income....how can I categorize this as a correction without it getting marked as a expense or income?
