I removed shipping address on an invoice that has been paid and for some reason when I run the Sales tax liability report it's showing up as non- taxable. When I click on the invoice I don't see anything that is exempt. I've checked the clients profile and they should be getting charged tax. I noticed this happened when I updated two different clients inovices. Please help.
I have passed an Inventory Qty Adjust entry but later found out it to be incorrect. so i deleted that entry. but not the value of the deleted transaction is visible in the relevant report.if i try to edit the same it show as "The Transaction you are trying to edit has been deleted."

I entered a journal entry onto Quickbooks (entry number "AJE11") and put the amount of 30,300 as a credit into account 478, which is listed as "other income." When I open the P&L and double click on that account number, AJE11 does not show up. I've made sure that the dates are all accurate and I've already tried restarting my computer. I'm using Quickbooks Premier - Accountant Edition 2020. I'd appreciate any help. Thank you.
I cannot create a report in QB Online that is similar to the Job Profitability Detail report from QB Desktop. I've been playing around with what QB Online offers and it just doesn't provide the data like the Job Profitability report from QB Desktop. Currently I'm running both online and desktop parallel for the sole purpose of the Job Profitability report and being able to see all my products/services laid out. The work around for the Project Profitability report just gives me a ton of columns (versus rows) that's difficult to navigate. I don't understand how a report that was so easy to run and so useful is now gone with nothing comparable.
Hi All,I print out the Unpaid Bills Report every month to double check the statements I receive from my suppliers. Is there any way of adding the date the report was generated to the form? Thanks
I’m trying to enter time cards to show up on job costing reports while using a third party payroll. After 6 calls and over 25 hours on the phone w QB I was told there’s NO way without creating a bill or attaching to a bill which in turn changes the customer invoice amount. Not going to work. I use QB desktop. I was told I needed payroll even though I’m not using it to run a payroll. That is false as it doesn’t matter still doesn’t show up on job cost reports. I run a remodeling company so my crew could be at 4 different customers houses a day. I need a way to add the time cards so I can see the labor on the job cost summary and or detail reports. Anyone else do this with luck pls help! Every call I have made turns into a waste of time. Last call I was sent to two different departments then told to call Enterprise number. All no luck. Can’t get a supervisor. The customer service is terrible with problem solving. Basically told me well I guess you are out of luck.
I'm trying to upload our FY 21-22 budget into QBO but there's no place to select the correct fiscal year when you're using the "Import Budget" screen. When I import it, the budget lands in the previous fiscal year (20-21) instead of the current (21-22); not sure why it's doing this. I see there are fiscal year selections only on the "Add Budget" screen. I don't want to have to manually add each budget (we have many for grants), how can I use the Import Budget screen but get the budget into the correct fiscal year??? Our QBO version is Advanced. Any help you
to be asset to my company
Modern View doesn't have amounts or a balance in the Transaction Journal when you drill down in the Trial Balance. The most ridiculous change I have seen yet. When I switch to Classic View all of the information is there. Accountants need numbers. Who had the idea to remove amounts from default reports?? Please fix this asap or you will have a not of unhappy customers. Anyone else having this major issue?? Thanks.
My recurring bills are booked against profit tax payable instead of accounts payable. How can I fix that?
2022 bank statement reconciliation
it told me i had met my limit for the day
I need to get a report that will show me the AP Aging by customer field. We receive draws from our customers and then pay bills on behalf of them and need I am trying to develop and excel model for a cash flow and I can get the AR side side by customer and need to get the AP side. How can i get an AP report with customer data which is how we track it?
when giving customers multiple options to choose from, the subtotal of all items together is often off-putting. If I quote 3 different levels of Equipment for an install, the first thing they see may be 18,000 dollars, while the highest price of the best equipment is only 6500. small but important detail when customers are getting multiple quotes and deciding who to use. seems simple, not sure why i cant make it happen
I customized a payment receipt and checked it as the default. If I print the receipt it prints the customized one but if I email it then it sends the QB generic payment receipt.
In QBO, there is only an option to add a credit card. A customer switched payments from a credit card to a check. Despite saving the check as the preferred payment method, we have several instances where the Credit Card is charged. We must have a way to remove the credit card from their account.
I have tried all the formatting options on the custom forms styles tab / menu settings, etc. There is an option to change font and size but that is it. I need the email alignment option.
I need to be able to add 30% mark up to materials
So if there was a deposit with several checks, each check would be listed on it's own line, or if there's an online payment with a service fee, the payment and the fee would be listed separately. I'd also want each of those lines to include the Quickbooks account associated with that line.
Old layout allows me to choose "Group time by service". I don't see the same in the new layout
