I just opened a new company account and selected my industry. This created a chart of account based on my industry. Can I delete that chart of accounts and create my own? I do not need/use many of the suggestions so would like to just start from scratch.

How do I fix this problem. every time someone from my office signs in I have to drop what I am doing and call in with a code
I installed the most recent update today, and noticed immediately my QB desktop program had a mind of its own and generating reports with tiny little writing. Why? The font size is so tiny and is the same on every single report I generate. This change is not desirable.I changed the Font Size in "My Preferences" but QB is ignoring this.I have to change the font size every single time I open a report or refresh it.Why would you genius wizards at Intuit decide that everyone has incredible eagle eye vision and force us to change the font size multiple times while trying to work?Is anyone else having this issue?
QuickBooks needs to modify its reports and invoicing to work based on quantity, not just dollar amounts. Currently, it only tracks dollar amounts, forcing me to manually calculate the invoiced quantity rather than just inputting how many items I’m shipping. Additionally, the "Estimates & Progress Invoicing Summary by Customer" report doesn't display open orders by quantity. Instead, it shows the percentage or dollar amount still open. Quantity tracking is crucial for many users, and this feature should be added.
I have a bill from a vendor who needs a 50% deposit. Can I enter the invoice and only pay 50%? If so, how?
We need a report that includes all Expenses like the one above. We need the report to have a column for Customer/Project, The column should show "This name". How can I get this kind of report? I use to have a report which was like a transaction report and filter it by customer name. Bills, Journal, Invoices and everything pertaining to the customer will popup for transaction type for the customer. for some reason it no longer doing that and only populating invoices. Now I do not have a report to identify my profit margin per customer is correct. Can Someone help me please.
Can you run a Budget Report displays all the Budgets by Class and provides a total? Can you run a similar report showing budget to actual?
up till about a month ago I would use this same computer, same browser, same everything to sign in to quickbooksonline. Many times I just need something quick to look at because it never pulls all the info for a customer on my phone version so I'm already slowed down by having to go into the office to look something up and now EVERY TIME I'm having to go across the office and grab the cell phone that this was set up on to grab the stupid "one time code" that I usually would get maybe every 3-5 months. And now this is all compounded by going through the process of typing this in as if anyone from QB will actually see this and do something about it. whatevs.
We use a 3rd party format for sending quotes and I want my estimate numbers to match but now I can't change the number.
I took over the books for someone a while ago. They had QB 2012 desktop version so I upgraded it to the newest online version. There are many 3 month old invoices that need to go out for multiple companies to get paid. My question is what is the best way to do this? I don't want to flood the companies with sending 10+ emails to them for payment all at once. Is there a way to maybe consolidate what one company owes and send them a single email with all invoices or something? I'm very new to QB and have been reading what I can to get up to speed. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
After doing the latest QB update, whenever you change the date or any filters in a report the font size shrinks. It carries through to when you print too, not just a visual error.
I am trying to export all items to excel, and this report does not include the class. How do i add this to the export report?
We found errors on some of our inventory items with incorrect Income and COGS accounts. If I change the items COGS and Income accounts how will this affect previous entries? Do I need to do AJE's to fix previous entries?
Or if I enter $10.00, it also changes it to $10 in the display (but $10.00 when printed), which seems like it might be a related issue. It didn't used to do this even just a week ago.
A little over a month ago my company upgrade to QBO Advanced so we can utilize the deferred revenue option the program offered. We are a SaaS company and it is necessary for us to correctly record our sales this way. When I set it up originally it was all done through the Products and Services tabs. I had to go in and create the schedules for the year. My issue is that I went back in the same area of the Products and Services to create other schedules and the option is no longer there. I went to the other section that is labeled as the Advanced accounting under recognizing revenue and do not see a place to set it up there either. Apparently the feature was updated recently and have not been able to find anything that outlines how this specific part works anymore. Anyone out there have this same issue that can provide me with some help? Much appreciated.I spent an hour with a customer service associate and they were not able to assist me at all.
