Hello,I am entering bills against item receipts on QB Desktop. I am running into the issue of receiving an invoice that only partially matches the item receipt for the PO. For example:PO is for a quantity of 10 pieces but we only got invoiced for 5 on one invoice and the remaining 6 will be on a second invoice. I have tried to change the qty once I enter the bill but it completes remove the item receipt once it is saved and then there is no other way of me entering the invoice against the remaining qty. Another example is that one PO has 3 line items and I have only received an invoice for line item #1 & #2... what do I do in this case? Thanks for all your help in advance.
I have custom reports set up to auto send every Sunday. For the last 3 weeks, these reports haven't been sent. I called for help. They told me there was a ticket in for the issue and would be adding me to the ticket so I could be updated. I haven't seen anything. Is there anywhere I can find updates to known issues?
Is there any way to get an Excel report showing check details like is on the check stub? (I forgot to run an unpaid bills report before a big check run and should be able to run a check run detail report, right?)
I have a client that is trying to work with BuilderGM and in order to integrate with that they need to have a customer/project on every transaction. We already have transactions in by class. Is there an easy way to add the customer based on that class or to bulk add it like you can when you reclassify?
A client used to use sub-customers for their B2B clients. What a mess this created. I have transitioned them to using Projects and it is much cleaner. But, the Customer information uses multiple shipping address. How do you deal with this situation? My solution has been to remove the check mark for shipping is the same as billing, and then putting in the project address manually for each new Project.Is there a cleaner way to do this? Thanks in advance for your time and thoughts.

Quickbooks SE. Photo scanned receipts no longer auto scan the date, vendor, and cost. I have to manually edit each scanned receipt. This started about 2 months ago. Is there a fix?
if i get an invoice for cleaning/maintenance etc- can ai assist extract not just the date/vendor/amount, but also the correct house and record it to the correct house's maintenance/cleaning etc account?

I have a company on QBO since 2021 but need to move it to a different Intuit account due to multiple reasons. Because this is NOT a desktop to QBO move, there isn't any kind of migration thing I can do here and imports are limited so this is what I am looking to do and I hope someone has a good way forward: I do NOT want to import and categorize every sales/expense transaction since 2021. I would like to put in all numbers off P&L and balance sheet either from 12/31/2023 or I can do it from 12/31 of 2021, 2022, and 2023 either way. And then I will import and categorize all transactions for 2024. Is this possible? I can't seem to wrap my brain around a solution. I know all the register accounts I need to add numbers to but don't know what account is on the other side of the journal entry. Single member LLC btw. TIA!
We use Quickbooks Accountant desktop. We use classes and subclass to track our jobs revenue and expense. For customer invoicing we use the "rep" field to track the sales person.How can we run a profit and loss by class using the sales rep and see all revenue AND expense for the class? I bolded the information so it's more understandable.Thanks Pennee
The address is complete, is verified to receive mail and is in a format acceptable to USPS, including ZIP+4. QBO insists that I instead mail the check to less specific addresses, such as the whole building or to specific floors of that building rather than the intended recipient. No amount of clicking 'save' will convince the system to move forward with my wishes.
I'm probably missing something really plain and simple, but I am spinning my wheels .... I want a report to show all deposits for a month that were paid via credit cards. Under Banking, I select the Deposit Detail. In the filter, I added Payment Method, so that then shows up on the report. I then tried to filter Payment Method of "Credit Card" and the screen goes blank. No matter what Payment Method I filter for, it shows nothing at all, even though cash, check and credit card all appeared when I wasn't filtering . Am I doing something wrong? Why won't it filter or Payment Method? Help!!
I am working on enhancing my reporting capabilities based on tracking where income is coming from. To do this, I need to be able to add tags to payments when they are received. It seems like the tag UI was removed from Accounts Payable for some reason? I have been able to successfully match the bank transaction to the payment no problem. These get matched on the Transactions / Banking screen. When I click on "Payment: Accounts Receivable" I expect to see a tags field so I can add a tag to the transaction. When clicking on Payment: Accounts Receivable I am brought to a screen that for some reason does not have the tags UI. When comparing this to a Bank Deposit screen (navigated here from clicking the Bank Deposit from the Transaction screen), we see a very similar screen, except on this one you do see the Tags UI. Anyway, I'm looking for guidance on how to add a tag to transactions when I match them to an invoice being paid. I haven't be
