This is currently available with Quickbooks online in India and its a heavily requested feature which should be added to Quickbooks online in Canada. We are not looking to add a separate discount line item with a negative number to reflect the discount. Instead there should be a discount column so we can have different discounts for different products and services. The following link shows this is currently available in QB Online India. https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-in/manage-customers-and-income/discount-by-line-item-on-invoices-and-sales-receipts/00/382272 Please add this feature.
I created an invoice for $700 (with tax $735). Customer pays by etransfer but can make multiple payments on it. So i link the first payment ($245) to the invoice. Balance owing is $490. Second payment they sent was for $640. $490 for the balance and the rest for something else. There is no invoice for that other piece as we just collect the money to pay another company, it's not a service we offer. How do I split that second payment to put $490 to the invoice and the rest to other income?

I have QB Premier 2019 and I need to export all my open sales orders with the addresses so I am using Open Sales Order by Customer Report. But, I need to include address line 3, but it is not on the report, Address line 1 is the customer's name (odd but that's where it is), address line 2 is the 1st line of the address, then it goes to city, state, zip but no 2nd line to the address. Is there anyway to add the address line 3 or is there anyway to change the address line 1 to actually be the address line 1 and the add Ship to name? Let me know, thanks, Wendi
I am looking for a solution like this for quickbooks desktop.I am using Premier 2020.My main goal is to track items without showing individual item to the customer
Anyone else experience this?
We are a wholesale produce distributor starting a food safety audit for accountability. We receive product daily, and add Julian Dates to each delivery (date received) for tracking purposes. We need those dates, pulled from received product in a FIFO inventory to be added to each new invoice created. I can't find a way to add the received on date or a Julian date to received product or the subsequent invoices that are being created. Is there a way to do this? We have QB Enterprise 2020
We have a parent company with a number of different subcustomers. We went through the conversion process to make them projects and everything got screwed up. The subcustomer/project we are trying to copy an invoice for does not show up as an option under the customer dropdown list, but it shows up when we search for the customer in the "Customers" page. Do you know the reason for this and what we can do to make the customer show up in the drop down when creating an invoice?
