My computer crashed and I had to reload program. Now I am being asked for a password. I am the administrator and the only one who uses this program. I do not want a password but cannot figure how to make it stop asking me for one.I set one up when I initially reloaded to get the program to let me proceed. I now wish to do away with the program password.

Hello,I am going to change bookkeepers and need to transfer access from one bookkeeper to the new one. How is that done if I pay the bookkeeper for the cost of quickbooks and not quickbooks directly? I would also need to transfer the billing of quickbooks to me also but how?

Hello! I have an issue where - 2 accounts are active for my company service.1 is the trial version and 1 is a subscription service that I purchased with the intent of upgrading my QBDT to QBO with the Black Friday Deal. It happened when I uploaded data from DT and it went to a trial account, rather than the subscribed one. I need to have some assistance in walking thru either - copying the pricing from the purchased account to the trial account - or moving the data (accounting and payroll) to the subscribed setup. Sorry if this is a bit sharp, but I have had a real problem getting my payroll settings up and tweaked and have been mis-guided by the phone support folks, so I am being super conservative here. The latest rep has suggested i can move the data with no issues once i upgrade the subcribed acccount to adavanced. Surely someone at intuit can just copy the pricing over to the 'trial version' and we just cancel the subscribed one. The
New PC, fresh install of Windows 11 Pro, fully updated, fresh install of Quickbooks 2024 Pro, fully updated to R4_15. Anti-virus and anti-malware programs uninstalled. For my bank accounts (checking, savings, PayPal, money market), information in Chart of Accounts / Edit Account ported over garbled. I am able to clear the bank account no. and routing fields, and assign the Tax-Line Mapping, then save. However, when I attempt to Save after entering the routing number and bank account number, I get the error message "Quickbooks in unable to complete this operation and needs to restart. Quickbooks will restart automatically." And it does. I've run "Quick Fix My File" and "Run Quickbooks File Doctor." Both report no errors, problem remains. Any ideas?

I have been using the Reminders List for entering my recurring transactions for five years. The Reminders List always had the reminders for the day when I opened QBO first thing in the morning. My routine is to review and enter or delete all of the reminders. For the past ten days, the reminders have not been on the list until much later in the day. What can I do to get the templates to show up on the list first thing in the morning? I have talked with a QBO person and sent feedback to QBO. Nothing has changed.
I want a report that will show me two columns: Product/Service and Amount. I cannot find one so I'm trying to create one.
My client is currently on another Proadvisor's plan for billing. How do I switch them to me? Does the other accountant have to switch them to client billed and then I add them to mine? Or is there a shortcut where we can switch from his plan to my plan?

I had a bookkeeper tracking my books Jan-Aug of this year, and I took over in Sept. I now have duplicate transactions for Jan-Aug because my bank account that is linked is showing the transactions from that time frame. Is there a way to fix this issue? Can I specify for my bank account to show only from September forward?
Hi, A while back I remember that I could auto populate a customer address when I searched for the addy via Google Maps. That function is no longer there. Any suggestions on how to auto suggest and populate addresses? It's a massive time saver and more accurate than manually entering. Thanks!

Maybe I'm missing something, but I don't feel that the new "modern reporting view" is helpful at all. It seems much harder to drill down to what I'm looking for. Is there a way to turn that option off so it defaults to the classic view?
I created a custom report but was never prompted to "Add this report to group". I can't figure out how to now add it.
