We use a report customer transactions that we give to contributors/donors at the end of the year for tax purposes. We are a church. We have line items for tax exempt donations and also non tax exempt donations. If someone is paying for a conference, camp fee, youth event, speghetti dinner, etc...that falls under non tax exempt and can not be on their year end report. When I print this report, it shows ALL transactions. I do not see an area to only include the tax exempt donations. Can you help me out?
I need to restart my company QB as the records weren't kept correctly, but I want to keep them just in case I need to look them up. How do I do this? I can't seem to find how to backup my company (with all the receipts I've uploaded), nor can I figure out how to start a new one with the same subscription.
My organization uses Quickbooks Premier Edition 2021 for payroll for 10 of our non-profit clients. We have very strong internal controls for payroll, so we currently do not e-file any payroll reports as we want the account managers of those 10 clients to review the reports before they are filed. Once they are reviewed, the account manager signs the reports and then they are mailed. The IRS is really encouraging e-file to eliminate the amount of informational reports being sent through the mail. I am exploring user permissions to see if there is a way for our accounting associate to have limited permissions (create transactions and create reports), who already processes payroll within quickbooks, can generate the reports for the account managers to review. Then once they review and sign off, another person with Admin privileges can log in and e-file. This would allow us to keep with our internal controls and still e-file. Hi there, We have set up a secondary business as a DBA under our S-Corp. If I set up a second account under my existing QB license, will I have to pay two subscriptions or is it still considered one subscription? I am using Pro Contractor Desktop. Thanks!

How do I enable revenue recognition in QBO? When I go to setting it isn't an option. In my business I require some customers to pay a deposit against future services but I don't want to recognize that revenue until the services are delivered.
When selecting a transaction in the report, when disclosing information, everything is indicated correctly, when closing the transaction window, the client in the general report is indicated incorrectly, we cannot change the client in any way. Maybe someone has encountered a similar problem.
Product: QBDT 2021 Pro.We recently had our admin walk out on us. We have access to the original email and the password to our QBW file. Recently our Merchant Services went inactive. Thus, what little income we have is dead as we can't accept credit cards at the moment.I've tried the reset through the web twice and each time they come back asking for different stuff. The last time, after seeing our board minutes, they wanted a letter from our president stating that I, the treasurer, was the designated contact. I submitted all that and waited another week. This time they wanted our articles of incorporation and a list of our trustees and owners. I have no idea where they got that idea? We are a small non-profit social club. We have a very informal board that is elected each year. There are NO owners. I think on the site I'm filing this under the wrong place and the instructions suck! Without providing any explanation, QuickBooks closed my account once my transactions exceeded a certain limit. What's more, all the payments I received beyond this limit were seized.I have diligently fulfilled all case requirements.
